Time for more grocery shopping! My second home. I remember often staying away for over a week when I was younger, but with children and a lot more fresh fruit and veges, it's time again.
lol, good point! Actually, I was more concerned about cooking my dinner :P
I mean it is steak and little bread rounds Could be dangerous with my hands in the oven and my fingers crossed, too
Qjay - "steak and little bread rounds" - sounds nice. Were you eating late?

I had them when I was pregnant. They said I had gestational diabetes! but I don't remember them making me feel bad. The last one I had - a couple of years ago, was "glucose intolerant" - I don't remember that making me feel ill either - but maybe I just didn't notice.
Nope, it wasn't late
I found these mini-loaves of french bread at Costco, each one is about 5 ounces (300 calories), so I sliced it thin, on a long bias, spread a little butter on it, a few grains of kosher salt, a dash of basil, and I toasted in the oven until it was golden and crunchy. I'd say, there is probably 500 calories in the whole Demi-loaf (with the butter), and I had that with an 8 or 10 oz sirloin, meaning 400 or 500 calories; I'm assuming 500 cal from steak, 500 from the bread. It's a lot for one meal, and I DID miscalculate the bread when I was preparing it... but it was good and I took a good long time eating it. It was probably an hour or so for the total meal, maybe longer.
At least, without my fingers crossed. Who KNOWS how long it could take WITH them crossed!
Anyhoo, I will be sending positive thoughts your direction (south, right?) for the results from your doctor's office to be "Nothing serious! Drink some juice for a few weeks you could use some folic acid."
Next time, I'm going to try butter spray and see how well, THAT works in the oven! :O
South. Yes. I think south-west is closer than south-east. I finally bit the bullet and tried again to work out the time difference, I think it must have been about 8:00pm Monday where you live when it was 12:00 noon Tuesday here. I live in Perth, Western Australia.
5:19 pm. They decided to give us daily saving at the last minute this year so we are actually on Tokyo time. There should be 17 hours difference I think, but there's 16 ?
I hope you can sleep late tomorrow!! We don't want you getting sleep deprived.
Also I forgot to say earlier - thanks for the good vibe - those vibes seems to move pretty quickly!

Hi! Greetings from England! It's a pity you've not seen snow yet, it's really quite stunning when you wake up in the morning and see it, perfectly crisp and untouched! I would send you a pick of our Christmas snow only we didn't have any! I could show you our Christmas rain if you like though!
Well, I was gonna wax lyrical about how gorgeous snow is but it seems everyone else has done that for me! Though be warned-it is only beautiful for a few days, When it starts to melt it goes slushy and muddy and slippery and gross!!
