Thanks I did have a great day! Breakfast ~7:00 2 weetbix,. 1C lowfat soy milk. 1/3 C tined peaches. 1 boiled egg. 1 slice wholemeal toast with minimal margarine and strawberry jam. ½ glass tomato juice. 1 C coffee with 40 ml Hilo. Lunch 5:00 2 slices wholemeal bread, a little margarine and vegemite. Snack 6:40 Glass of tomato juice Snack 7:00 Crudites and light French onion dip. Capsicum, carrot, celery, sugar snap peas, mushroom.
I kind of forgot about lunch again. Finally cracked a vegemite sandwich! The first one for this diary. I think it was because it was fresh bread and because I just read a post elsewhere in which someone said they’d had their first for ages and “at the moment I would rate it better than sex”…It didn’t exactly do that for me. Exercise 8.45. ~ 50 minutes. I walked the oval, then up and down the banks 5 times then 100 times up and down a flight of 6 steps, then the oval and banks again. It wasn't really intense enough. However I had run out of time. I'd like to try some proper steps, maybe on the weekend. Dinner 10:00 140 gm trevally, flour dusted, fried in a little ev olive oil.. 2 slices wholemeal bread. Lime juice. Watermelon.
Yay! Trevally’s back in season. Water: ~2000 ml Yesterday’s Bedtime: 12:30
On plan:116 days. Achieved food target: 98 days. Exercised: 99 days. All goals: 7 days. |

Rep Power: 217 | | what is trevally? a type of fish?
vegemite :shudder: that really has to be a taste that you're born with liking...
I did however, understand what Capsicum was - that one befuddled me for about a week - i saw it on menus constantly and had no earthly idea what it was |

Rep Power: 43 | | Yes. Trevally is a fish.
I don't know about being born liking vegemite. Children just build up a tolerance from the time they're babies I think.
We're great capsicum lovers in this family. I only buy red ones though (or yellow or orange). I say it's for the kids, but after 10 years it would be hard to go back to eating the green ones raw. |

Marmite is similar. I hardly remember the taste - maybe a little milder? I prefer vegemite. Not over sex though.

They need to be used sparingly.
Also vegemite sandwiches are a great Australian tradition, which thankfully is mainly restricted to school lunchboxes and not brought out at times of celebration.
Thank you too, Mechelle. It's always nice to see your avvie here. Quote:

Rep Power: 43 | | Most of Australia was scandalized not long ago at the news that the US had banned Vegemite imports. I'm guessing that makes you relatively safe, most of the time T2.
