Breakfast ~9:30 2 weetbix,. 1C lowfat soy milk. 1/3 C tinned peaches. 1 slice wholemeal toast with minimal margarine and marmalade. Boiled egg. 1 C coffee with 40 ml Hilo.
Lunch 1:00 2 handfuls of almonds and a V8 vege juice. 1 Salada cracker.
Hills program again. The machine sort of fluctuates how hard it is on that program. Warm up 5 minutes at level 1. 10 minutes level 2. 5 minutes level 2 no hands. 8 minutes 8sec/12sec intervals (maybe I should do that straight after the warm up when I have more energy – and try level 1). My maximum heart rate for that was around 170 I think.
After 20 -25 minutes I was pretty tired but I thought it might be worth trying to use the machine for more resistance work so I upped the level to 20. That was interesting. Useful I think. I was moving very slowly at first then seeing my heart rate climb I really started to really push it. It got to 195 before I stopped then went up another couple of beats to197, and stayed about there then suddenly dropped to 167 – I think the machine must only change now and again. Anyway, I like that feeling – when it’s really pushed. It’s kind of nice to do that with force instead of speed for once. So I left it at level 20 then till cool down. For cool down I dropped it back to level 1 and it felt like the machine had started pushing me and I was doing nothing. LOL That machine is fun to play with.
Calories 350 Distance 1.86 (kms? I’m still not sure, if so then that’s about a mile.) The distance and calories were more than last time anyway – more than just the difference from staying on longer.
Hi Felici, sounds like you're really pushing it on the cross-trainer, which is great. What's the max resistance on that thing? When I set the ellipiticals to their highest, which is 20, you can practically stand on the pedals and they won't move.
Did I see 11 miles...what the hell wmn - you crankin out miles on a machine - good for you - Ive missed you!!! Your av is great as well !!! Your so cute !!!

20 is the highest resistance. The pedals were super slow to shift at that level, but I thought that might be nice for a change - like weights. With the hills program though the machine varies the amount of resistance from time to time.
Hey you ....Ive been missing you - LOL _ im glad I am able to be back online again and now I need to make more of a point of visiting you I was slackin off a bit before...
Checked calories again, because I was about to finish the day too low. It’s amazing how this seems like so much food to me now and how little interest I have in eating more these days. Long may that last.
Exercise: 9:10 Walk about 1 hr.
Short route to oval + 1 lap then stretches, intervals - 5 sprints between goals, 3 at 54 secs (a new low), 2 at 60 secs, long route home.
Thank you. I guess it has started well - food and exercise seem to be ok. My days have been busy and full of challenges and fun!

Well my day had it's moments but finished very nicely.
I don't want to make it seem that I am pwning the machine which I can barely use!! It's just interesting for me to mess around with it and get different effects.

I'm glad you have your computer fixed. It is unbelievably tiresome to deal with when they muck up.
