Rep Power: 27 | | Finally I am finally starting to lose some weight! I am now down to 174. I jogged 2.2 miles again today. My goal is to jog 50 miles total by February 15th. This averages to about 13 miles a week. I can do that. It is so nice to finally start seeing results. Yay! |

Rep Power: 27 | | Jogged 2.5 more miles today. I had to take yesterday off due to a nasty cold I got from my husband and daughter. I still have it but don't feel near as crummy today. The jog felt fantastic! The sun is out and the park was full of joggers, walkers, and their dogs. It is 50 degrees outside and it feels great. I am starting to see results. My legs are getting toned and my preggo belly is getting flatter every day. Plus my mother has lost 10 lbs in the past 3 weeks and there is no way in hell that I am going to let her beat me in our little weight loss competition. She's 26 years older than me. Surely I can lose this weight a little faster. 6lbs in 14 weeks really sucks. I now know it's due to the muscle gain and the body fat is starting to come off. I can't wait til I can squeeze back into my old levi's. Everybody here is doing such a great job. This forum is so motivating! |

Rep Power: 26 | | | really enjoyed reading your diary AmyRB, Really enjoyed reading your diary. There are so many admirable things in there about you. I miss being an athlete too. I like especially how you didn't waste any time getting on with the job after your pregnancy. I have waited a long time to do this. If I get to 190 it will be the first time in over five years. But I think the stars are in alignment for me now and you have taught me a thing about determination. I'll be watching out for you! |

Rep Power: 27 | | I lost 3 more pounds! Woo Hoo! This low carb thing is really working. I went 12 weeks without losing a pound. I have lost 9lbs the past 3 weeks so I guess my doctor was right when he said I my body may be carb intolerant. The bad news is that I have to lay off jogging for a few weeks. I injured the IT band in both my knees yesterday during my jog. Doc says I can't do anything that impacts my knees until they heal. That really sucks because the jogging was really starting to get easier. I'll just keep doing some pilates and upper body weight training. Anybody got any good exercises that don't require any bending of the knees? |

Rep Power: 26 | | | jogging Hey your diary is really motivating. Congrats on the 2 pound loss. I might be joining a group to start training for a 60 K walk on Vancouver Island. That will get my butt in gear! Keep up the good work, you're doing great. |

Rep Power: 27 | | I checked on fitday.com and "that" only burns 25 calories for a 45 minute session. I think fitday may be wrong.
Kelly, that 60K is a great idea. I am training for a 5K run in May. Watch out, it is really addictive. I ran my first 5k 6 years ago and HATED it. But after I was finished I had to try it again. It got to the point that I enjoyed my dialy runs. It's very meditative. |

Rep Power: 28 | | well far as i know doing "that" but really doing it hehehehe lol burns up to 450 cals in 30 minutes, and it does all muscle groups so use it as spare aerobics class lol and besides you can do it as many times as you want. plus i heard that orgasm is also great way to burning calories (so add that to those 450) so make your husband perform well |

Rep Power: 9 | | Now that sounds like a more accuate number. I didn't think Fitday.com was right either. I guess it all depends on the effort | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
