Rep Power: 43 | | Now is a good time to start!
It will help you get the most value out of all that exercise you're doing too. It keeps your body primed to work to capacity. |

Rep Power: 13 | | I will have to work on that...I know it doesnt do me any good to skip breakfast...I tend to eat once a day...but lately Ive been eating twice and a snack...At my highest weight I had a florist shop with my mom and neither of us would eat all day, then late night fastfood set in, we were both rather large and getting bigger Yet we wondered why when we hardly ever ate... |

Rep Power: 13 | | O.K. I survived my first out to eat experience this go round...I figured I had taken in too many calories after we went to the fugi bowl last night...So I got up this morning and did my reserch...And I really didnt do bad at all In fact I think I coulda stood to have eaten more...I ordered a shrimp and veggie bowl with rice...I didnt eat much of the rice, however I did use the special sauce...OMG it was great! I had water with the meal and left most of it on the plate except of course for the shrimp! I ate every single one!
I only got 2 hours in my exercise time...but I am incresing my intensity much!!! Plus I walked around walmart for what seemed like forever
My hubby is off work today...wich usually spells disaster, he likes to EAT...Its gonna be a long weekend, I just hope he doesnt want to go out to eat again I started my morning out working in the grandmother in laws garden...digging weeds and turning soil, this has been one seriouse workout. It looks like its gonna take me the rest of the day. But she is very excited about it.She likes to grow tomatos so for the last 5 years I have been plowing the garden ect. for her...This year I am bringing in new soil and black cow ect...Its a big job but I think It will be worth it to see her garden better than ever. She just turned 81 so its kinda like a birthday gift, that and the tomato plants ect |

Rep Power: 43 | | Good on you for dealing so well with eating out!
Working on your grandma's garden sounds like a win, win, win, win situation. Such a lot of positives for you both. That's lovely. |

Rep Power: 13 | | Thanx Felici...I had fun doing it, it has become a bit of a ritual for us. But this year her garden will be bigger than ever. we didnt get finished until dark The weeds and leaves had taken over then I went to the feed and seed and got 100 pounds of black cow 100 pounds of peats 50 pounds of lime and about 30 pounds of fertilizer. So once I got it spread I had to turn the soil a second time! I started gardening about 5 years ago, slowly I am learning what I need to know about it and it has become a passion of mine Very relaxing and good for the body as well. Not something most people would expect from me.Perhaps I am getting old
I felt bad about not getting my regular workout in so..in true sleepless fashion I stayed up and rode the cycle for an hour and then did 30 min. of cardio...with a low intensity however...I am worn out, but feeling great!
I am feeling really good and I hope I dont lose any momentum, So I sent off for my next years UFAF(uninted fighting arts federation) membership. So I am hoping this means I will some day test for my black belt, of course I will have to do alot to get in the right kind of shape. Just something else for me to keep in mind while getting back on track. I plan to add katas and sparring to my exersize routine starting tomorrow, I am really looking forward to finally getting something I have invested 10 years of my life in...Why have I been such a quitter? I dont want to be that person anymore
OK I am rambling now...time to stop... |

Veges fresh from the garden are one of the best things! I have been careless of my own garden this summer because of feeding my new passion for for the net and for my health, but I will add it back in. I think a healthy lifestyle and a vege garden fit together very nicely. We have a decent amount of space but not much light in our garden as it's overgrown with trees. I generally use containers near our back door for things like herbs and tomatoes. I should plant some peas and spinach. Easter is a good time here for getting gardens going .... hmmm. Now I'm rambling - and it's your diary.
I bet you gain a massive amount of motivation and satisfaction from getting back into your martial arts. |

Rep Power: 13 | | Ramblers welcome We actually cut quite a few trees we had...but the tomatos did better! Last year we ate enough tomatos to feed an army, I hope it goes that well again this year...
As for karate, my confidence flew out of the window...I am trying to backtrack and relocate it |

Rep Power: 13 | | Well my hubby wound up being off work Monday as well... And its that time of the month for me But I stood on the scale and no change...I am happy with that. I ate a few things I could have done without yesterday, but I didnt go over 2,000 calories. So I'm not gonna beat myself up about it.
I didnt get many of my regular excersizes in but I worked hard. I bought some aquatic plants and water features for my goldfish ponds, then it took me all day saturday to get it all situated, so I burned a few calories Im sure.
Then sunday we went out hiking In the woods on the family land...We covered about 200 acres of woods(I have no idea how far that is)along some steams on some very muddy terrain...Then I came home and rode the cycle!
Yesterday I cleaned the big goldfish pond...About 2000 gallons of water! This one was a seriouse workout! I had to scrub the walls for a couple hours and rince and empty a few times...the pump wouldnt get it completely empty so I got in and used a bucket!!!!Next time I will just buy a new pump
This morning I ate a small bowl of strawberry shortcake...my hubbys grandma brought us the whole cake....its huge! I dont plan to even look in the fridge anymore today...gonna steer clear of that one... |
