Thanx Mal that is a really cool site but I havent really sang in years and I have no equipment I dont have a mic(just cheapo computer one) I have an old electric guitar but no amp....But if I stay in the top 25 in this other I might win that mic thingy...(im so technically challenged)Then I might just have to give it a shot, I have discovered this week that if I work out for about an hour then sing I sound much more like my old self, I wish I had practiced more before I recorded that other stuff I really was just thinking I could go back and do them over!

Thanks cerelly! I like all music! I guess most people say that but I really do like just about anything from rock to classical and some country I have a billion favorites!

Well good point I dont like much rap either...depends on how vulgar it gets!
I LOVE Metallica and God smack and shania though...thank you so much for taking the time to vote I owe ya big time!
I have bad memories of a shania song...the last contest I entered I was 15 and it was to open for randy travis and I got in the top 200 hundred then the top 50 then the top 25 singing whos bed have your boots been under then I had to have an emergency toncelectamy and I couldnt go any farther I was completely devastated! In true teenage style I thought I would never sing again! I havent sang anywhere but church events since then...

Down two pounds - and 100 down from your highest weight !!!!!!!!!!!

OMG That is magic!! I have been so tucked away I didn't even see that until today! Way to go!!

You did have a heavy patch to get through - I don't think you need think that feeling down was just due to your state of mind. I'm so glad you feel you are through that though.

I hope you are still having a good time. I think that when we cut back on some of the more salty, sugary, oily foods our palate adapts and we can better discern and enjoy the flavours in healthier foods. I'm glad you're enjoying some new things.

Thanks Guys! It has been a long journy and I am not at the end yet.I started losing weight over two years ago so its been so gradual Its hard for me to see the diffrence! Plus after getting down to 130-140 I still feel pretty jumbo at 195! But I feel better and I am really getting into the routine of my new lifestyle again! My goals are getting smaller and that helps for motivation! I feel more confident and Ive started singing again and playing my guitar and keyboard everyday. Some friends of mine are trying to get me to start a band so I said once I finish losing the weight I will and that gives me something great to look forward to.
The best news of all my bloodpressure is completly normal! WOW I thought that would never happen, my doctor couldnt beleive I just stoped the medication, but he couldnt say much because the weight and pressure is so much better! He also said my toe was def. broken but it doesnt hurt anymore and Im back on my workouts...
I havent been on here alot or had much to say but I still read alot of diaries and just take it in(I dont have alot of creative thought to add But I get alot from you guys)I have been remodling one of the back sheds for a soundroom so Ive been at it day and night! I am so excited about having a space of my own for my music no little fingers messin with my stuff LOL! I just love it when she tunes my guitar for me!

Not prunes - Dried Plums most places they've changed their name because prunes had the connotation as the product for seniors with constipation... the extra fiber does take soome getting used to but they are quite yummy - try the orange scented ones if you are brave enough to try again -tehy're really good

The caramel quakes are really good too - but they have HFCS as an ingredient so I don't eat them tat often.. but as a sweet treat they're pretty good..

neat you're discovering good tasting healthy treats for yourself
