Well I went out of town tonite to buy myself a recumbant cycle machine...wasnt gonna eat out...was carful to eat salad for lunch and no junk, but the old man wanted golden corall.... i said no he said well u dont have to eat anything you dont want to, well now I am feeling like a DORK...I went and had "all I could eat" couldnt have eaten dessert if i tried and now i am just feeling bad... I guess its time to put the cycle together... I will need to ride all nite to work this one off
Anybody here do tae bo? Tried that today....if u can do tae bo u are fit already! I suppose I will try again 2morrow....
Thanx for the encouragement....I did ride the cycle for an hour....we will see how that feels 2morrow and I did around 30 min of tae bo but I kno I wasnt doing it right....If I could keep up with those guys I would be a marathon runner ....I really dont like aerobics, tae bo seems less silly looking, not that anyones watching This is only day 2 but I somehow feel more confident than ever....I havent ever felt open to talk about weight loss, I guess I had no idea how much I needed to.
My mom says an hour and a half is too much excersize but I swear it was low in its intensity, I think I will live!
SC that happens to me. I have my skinny friends that can eat anything and I have my fat friends that just don't care. I get stuck in the middle at places like that. If it's the only time in your life you have screwed up I'm impressed lol. Your human so your allowed to mess up. So just put that torture contraption together and go fifty or sixty miles.

Hey hillbilly have you taken karate b4?
Yea I have a black belt in Kuk Sool Won. It's a combination of the Korean Martial arts. It's really intense. It has the forms, and stand up fighting principles like tae kwan do and grappling like hapkedo and jujitsu and judo. It takes about 2 years to get your black belt.
WOW thats awsome I love to meet other martial artist....Chun Kuk Do is a mix as well...I think its also just something chuck dreamed up! I would love to take other styles one day...My sister is a 4th degree and she ownes the dojo I go to, so thats how I got started. I would like to open a sister school here in my town hers is about 40 min. away. But the black belt test is like 8 hours long and I have alot of work to do b4 I am ready for it.
The last time I saw my doctor I was only 168 or so and he pretty much laughed at me and said ur 2 heavy to get a black belt...u better lose a few b4 u try to get it....so i said i think u better lose a few b4 u try to squeeze back into those slacks @hole.... (as he was not exactly thin himself)anyhow never went back...i thought he was great until that day, i would hate to hear what he thinks of my weight now.
Does your style do bassai? Alot of people call that the universal black belt kata...i am trying to learn it now.
Ok trying to post b4 and after pics again...and the now, it doesnt show much...

Don't sweat the scale just yet. Weight fluxuates from day to day, and depends on the time of day. It's really best, IMO, to pick a single day of the week, and a single time that day, and always weigh in then, if at all possible. What you eat before you weigh and such can have an effect on the way the scale reads, too.
As for that doctor - I've always hated doctors who have the audacity to stand there and tell you that you need to loose weight - when they're at least 20 pound or more over weight themselves. Takes some guts.
I started walking my dog for 15 minutes. Then I read you need 30 minutes for maintaining weight and 45 to lose. (I don't know if that's true - depends what you eat!). But anyway I just kept adding little bits on and yesterday I went for a 44 minutes walk! When I started, all I promised myself was to try and do some exercise every day. Now I am on day 26, improving daily, and looking forward to my next walk. I'm really happy about that.
It won't hurt you to be open to other ideas for how to exercise, but I think 40 minutes is a great start.

sooooooo all ive had today is peanuts and salad what do i do to stop from eating the rest of the holiday hammmmmmmm?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
The holidays are over but what I did was put more turky on my plate then I usely would without the skin and I did just one scoop from a table spoon of each stuffing, sweet potatos and cranberry salad that way I could taste the sides but I filled up more on the turky which is much better then filling up on sweet potatos laoded with marshmellows and pecans
what a weekend...thank God its over! Gained another pound, mostly fluid I think... But its the first, so I am promising myself this will be a great year and I AM GONNA DO THIS! Slept late, havent eaten yet and its dark...still planning to do more excersizes...Not sure what to eat, somehow when given the option of eating healthy I just lose my appitite, but hey I am trying new things and Im gonna do better. Made an agreement with my family absolutly no more fast food...no exceptions. Wish me luck on that one! Hope everyone has a Very Happy New Year, and a healthier one too!
