The cycling thing is easy, so long as your heart and lungs are in shape for cycling you can go forever.
Just ride up some steep hills for a few minutes everyday and that should get you going

It sounds like you lost a couple of pounds a week last time, which is fine in itself. From what else you've said, there were some other elements that made you sick. I do not recommend crash dieting in the least. My first crash diet I was 102lb. I have since "dieted" my way all the way up to over 202lb. Yes, I don't only blame the eating for that, I blame the dieting as well - the lack of balance. My weight loss seems slow to me now. I find that a bit hard to deal with - even just weighing once a week. I know how to at least double it, without feeling much more hungry, but for me the real battle now is to maintain balance and control so that this fight up and down is a thing of my past.

If you are eating properly you must be making invisible progress right now - but it is progress! You might not have seen it on the scales in one day (I would have expected that if it was me too!), but you will see it everywhere before March. With that exercise, I bet you feel heaps better already don't you? Well done!!

"my butt hurts"

Oh I remember that feeling from my own last attempt at biking. I wouldn't exactly call it my "butt" though!!

Give it two weeks, you wont know yourself.
Your butt hurts because you are using your butt muscles.
Your lungs and heart are outta shape, it will take a week or two for all this to get fit and then bingo.

Im still a smoker, but im battling it

Wow I ran a disk scrubber on my computer had no idea it would take 4 days to complete!
Anyway Ive been doing good on my changes. Went to karate last night and other than having to look at myself in the mirror I had a good time. Stayed for the weapons class and burned some calories!
Ive missed the forum!
Hey WISHES Love the hair!!!!

yeah I bought a cheap disk scrubbing program planning to give this one away. I have another and got a laptop for my birthday.I know nothing about computers...totall computer dummy
OK I am so sore from karate...felt like a fatty in the mirrors for sure, I am the only overweight red belt in the whole dojo. Then I hit myself in the eye with my new bo staff...funny but not too funny got a slight black eye and tomorrow night is sparring class so maybe if someone blacks my other eye it will complete the chubz karate clown look I got goin on. I dont even want to go, I feel more self conciouse than ever. But my sister already thinks Im a quitter and I ride with my best friend and sometimes my sister in law. I feel obligated and in some ways I definatly want to go. I just feel so bad about having to look in those mirrors

Ok. so I will never eat at KFC again. I was doing so great yesterday and realized at 10pm I only had 600 calories in, so I went to subway and the debit machine was out of order well i then decided to go kfc as they were almost the last joint open. ate a 3 pc strip meal with bisquit and 2 sides and a soda came home and looked at the nutrition facts online and couldnt beleive that i had just taken in 1750 calories. OMG! I had NO IDEA... So that really really sux...beware of kfc... anyway I still managed to burn more calories than i took in but it wasnt a great day of success...i sure wish i had just gone to bed, i will say it again, mostly for myself....BEWARE OF KFC! I think I know now what killed the kernal...

I took my lazy self to karate and got one heck of a work out...1 solid hour of fighting combinations with a partner so when it was time for the actual fighting to commence I went home. wasnt in the mood to get my butt kicked after all i was so exausted a spider monkey coulda took me out...

OMG I had no idea!! My children ate that stuff on Friday! What is 2 sides? Like two little tubs of salad, or 2 fries? Is a bisquit what I might call a scone - a fairly plain baked product made from dough - like a small, dryish, low fat cake?

Well. I wasn't planning to eat any, any time soon, but still!! I'm glad you posted that. It's mind boggling.

lol Ive eaten KFC a couple times since being on this 'diet'/lifestyle.
I still managed to stay under my calories. Again its not what you eat so much as how much of it. clearly you ate a little too much hehe
I normally have 1 cup of fries and 1 or 2 pieces of chicken (depending how many cal i have left or how hungry i am) and sometimes the colslaw.

fell of the wagon...got lost in the woods...lol

I havent been on here for 3 months, I guess I gave up. But I havent gained any weight and I am going to the gym now. I see alot of people on here are really making some great progress, I wish I had been doing the same. I had to get a new computer because I was too ignorant to fix my own. But here I am...Still 100 pounds lighter than my highest weight but I really really need to lose this 50 pounds extra. I came across the food journal from when I lost the 150 I realize now how many gardenburgers and bananas I ate I guess I should try that rout again...although I cant say it sounds too tastey right now.
