Hello! It sure has been a great year! So, how can I make 2007 a better one? My goal in general is to just stay healthy. Amazingly enough, with Thanksgiving and Christmas here and gone, I hopped on the scale with both eyes closed and then I did it, I peeked at the little red number.. and it said 145. I was soooo happy! This February I started out at 167 and after months and months of TaeBo I have come this far. I still would like to loose another 25 pounds to hit my goal weight (and still have a very healthy BMI) I have worked really hard at this and it has really paid off. I have one piece of advice for anyone trying to loose the weight for this new year:
DON'T MAKE A RESOLUTION, MAKE A HABIT. Resolutions tend to wane about the middle of February, whereas Habits stick with us, the good and the bad. If you had a little too much to eat this holiday season, don't beat yourself up over it, just pick yourself back up now and get started with a plan, a VERY REALISTIC PLAN for your lifestyle. If all the time you have for yourself is 20 minutes in the morning before work, get a high energy 8 minute Cardio exercise in (Billy Blanks has one as do many other fitness gurus) but pick out a routine that you like and make it FUN or you will never stick with it. MOST OF ALL - EAT HEALTHY! and I wish you A VERY Happy & Healthy 2007!
