Ha! Yeah! They sure are! Especially the first ones, that's when you see what all your hard work's done for you!
OK then, here we go!
Weight: 225.8lbs (-9.2lbs)
Bf%: 28.4%
Fat Body Mass: 64.2lbs (-3lbs)

Hooray! That's my target reached for this week! 3lbs of fat gone! An overall loss of 9.2lbs! I'm pretty chuffed with that! I think that's such a dramatic loss for two reasons, firstly because it's my first week and, secondly, because all the water I'm drinking is helping to flush any stored water out.
Onwards and upwards! Next target: 2.5lbs of fat!

No worries Cinderelly! It's good that you even checked my diary out in the first place! I'm guilty of not looking around too much too! I'm pretty busy so haven't been able to look at what most other people are doing and encourage them! Hopefully I'll have an opportunity this week! It all helps!

Thanks! To be honest, the last weight loss programme that I did (with the same routine as this) was by far the most successful one I've done. Although it was the routine that caused me to lose the weight, the reason I stuck to it so well was because I focused on my goals.
I wrote down what I wanted to achieve, when I wanted to do it by and imagined how I'd feel once I had. Then, every night and every morning I'd re read my goals. Plus, every night I'd write 3 things I could do the next day to help me move closer to them.
I know this all sounds cheesy but it really helped me to get into the right mind set. It was as if every choice I made was the right one, I wouldn't even look at cakes or chocolate (my weaknesses!) because I knew that they weren't part of the plan so they might as well not have existed!
It's very similar to the Body For Life goal setting plan in the first few chapters, if you've ever heard of that.
Really though, it feels as if all my success stemmed from this, I can't reccommend it enough!

I get what you are saying about sounds cheesy but works. I think I get a similar effect from browsing this website. It drums my intentions into me and gets my subconscious into line with my conscious decisions. Actually writing my diary and posting to other people has a similar effect - probably that's an even stronger way of helping me stay on track automatically. I suspect I have been doing something quite similar to you - but all via the site.

Compared with my previous attempts to lose weight this has been magical - not because I am losing fast like you - but because I am able to control what I eat. I am spending too much time on it though. I will remember what you said in case my internet connection goes down!!

Yeah, last time I kept an on line diary too on a different site and it helped when people responded because I didn't want to have to write that I'd cheated or given up. It is a big help!

Well, here's a quick update on how I'm going! I've been to the gym 3 times this week so when I go on Sunday that'll be my last session this week!
With the diet, I've found some low fat sausages and beefburgers to help satisfy my caveman urges for meat! Don't worry, I cook it first!
My weigh in's on Monday and I'm looking forward to seeing how I've done! Good luck everyone!

Thanks! I've had cravings every now and then but managed to pull through! I've been having a sneaky peek on the scales and it looks like I've only lost a pund but I think I look thinner! Strange! Let's see how it goes tomorrow!

Cravings are definitely the hardest thing to deal with. I try to deal with them by avoidance!! I try not to get too hungry, or tired, or thirsty, try to keep my blood sugars stable, and let my eyes slide off cravings food, and my brain slide off thoughts of it.

Well done on the cravings management!!
