very nice, good luck, don't loose it too fast, I think 8 lbs is really easy to jump back up to if you don't keep it up after you hit your goal

Well, I'm naturally pretty slender (not skinny, so much) and without exercising I'm a size 2 or 4. I'm not so big on losing weight - when I was in really good shape before I've been 125, and that was mainly just muscle.

I eat about 1200-1400 calories a day, but I don't really count them - just eat when I'm hungry. (which is frequently!) I'm not really into dieting, but overeating is defietntly something I avoid. I'm also a big believer in breakfast!!

My sister is the same height as me, but ten pounds less - and she's healthy (but with no muscles!). I've loaded up some 'before' pics which I'll post, to give you guys a good idea what I'm talking about (and to prove I'm not actually super-skinny!)

Wow, you really are slender! If you start to exercise more, then you will tone up your muscles. You'll have to be careful about your diet at that point though, because when you change your energy output, your body wants to increase the energy input, and that means more food. It's just a good thing to keep an eye out for.
See you later!

Update:

I've fallen off the cart a little bit with my healthy eating - I'm going through a pretty crappy breakup with my boyfriend of two years. HOWEVER I have started doing yoga and also skipping rope in the morning, so maybe it will even out a little?

I've also got some three pound weights I've been using. No weight loss for this week, but I'm happy to be starting with the weights. Strong arms soon, I hope!

Since you are trying to tone up, more than slim down, consider setting your sights on a particular clothing size or set of body measurements you'd like, instead of just using weight as your goal.
It is something to at least consider. *shrugs* See you later!

That's actually a really good idea. I didn't really expect to loose ten pounds anyway because I'd just gain it back in muscle!

I think my ideal measurements would be

Bust 33
Waist 25
Hips 35

That's only two inches each, and I think it's a realistic goal...

I've been really closely sticking to healthy foods, and drinking water and every morning I'm loading up my breakfast cereal with blueberries or dried cranberries! Since I don't really eat those normally, it's a pretty good way to encorperate them into my diet.

No changes right now in my weight, but I've been doing arm weights for a good week now and I actually starting to feel a little bit of a difference! (at least I hope so!)
