Rep Power: 22 | | Thanks for all the comments, everybody! I did have a great time with the girls! I ended up having a couple of DIET drinks, which I know I didn't need. But we danced for four hours, so I think I burned plenty of calories. Haha We also went out for breakfast this morning, which was nice.
Breakfast: Ham & bell pepper omelette, slice of whole wheat toast w/ sugarfree strawberry jam, 2 potato pancakes
Lunch: Special K Red Berries cereal w/ skim milk, & cran-grape juice (I ate a small lunch to make up for the big breakfast)
Snack: Plum
Supper: Garlic shrimp stir-fry over white rice
Well, I'm off to check out some diaries and finish up a little bit of work for a presentation I have to do tomorrow. Hope everybody had a great weekend! |

Rep Power: 22 | | | Craptacular Weather So we're getting another storm... That's three huge dumps of snow in one week. I can't handle this kind of weather at all. I was out walking in this today. It calmed down for a while, so I went out. Then it started up again when I had about 15 mins walking left to get back to my house, which made the walk quite difficult. Oh well, I'll just think of it as more calories burned!
Breakfast: Special K Red Berries w/ skim milk & cran-grape juice
Lunch: Moose soup
Snack: Kiwi fruit & a coconut marshmallow cookie (my roommate is evil)
Supper: Garlic shrimp stir-fry
I find I'm satisfied by very small servings lately. At first I would feel like I should eat more, just for the heck of it. My body is really growing accustomed to the portions I've been preparing. That makes me very happy! It also makes me feel ok about my upcoming pizza reward because I know I'll feel full after 2-3 pieces and won't end up eating 4-5 pieces. Matt has reached his 210, so I have some catching up to do. Haha |

Okay, okay... I believe you both. Shoveling/staying warm does burn a ton of calories and for that I am grateful. However, it's given me a bit of a backache which leads me to wonder if it's worth it. Not to mention, my arms felt like jelly when I came inside. I didn't even get the driveway entirely finished because the snow was so heavy and hard. My roomie/best friend is going out with me in a little while to finish it up.
Aside from the 7 000 000 cals I burned shoveling snow (!!!), I had an excellent workout at the gym. The storm died off around lunchtime, so the gym reopened at 1. Yay! Well, I haven't done so well with the food today because I skipped snacks and just ate my meals. I really don't like doing that to myself. But I didn't feel hungry or sluggish or anything. I'll probably eat a kiwi later, since I didn't eat any fruit today. Bad girl.
Breakfast: Special K Red Berries cereal w/ skim milk & orange juice
Lunch: Microwaveable brocolli & cheese tortellini
Supper: Bean salad w/ 1.5 tbsp classic herb dressing
That reminds me, I ended up eating two pieces of cheese last night, thanks to the sex & cheese convo over at M's diary! haha And, just for the record, it was highly satisfying. LOL |

I want spring to come NOW dang it!!!! | Nope, none has melted yet. It's been soooo cold! We're supposed to get warmer temperature and a little bit of rain in the next few days though, so that should take care of it. It's groundhog day tomorrow! Hopefully the little bugger will bring good news. Quote:
