Rep Power: 0 | | | Be happy I've got to share something interesting with you Steve.
A few months ago I decided to drop my weight and hence, joined a support group called 'be happy with us' (behappywithus@yahoo.co.uk)
With their training programme that includes mental and emotional support and physical exercises, I was not only able to lose some of my weight but add lean muscle and build a healthy physique.
It is indeed helpful to have a support group around us when we try this task.
All the best from me! |

All the best from me! | Not interesting at all to me. Or I should say, not surprising to me at all. I am always interested in hearing from new people.
A well balanced program that puts nutrition and fitness in check will always work. Add in mental/personal development and you have a sure fire way to success IMO.
I am glad you were able to do good for yourself. Welcome to the forum and I look forward to hearing from you. |

Lena | Eating 60-90 minutes before is good actually, and you should eat after your workout too.
Some like to structure carbs in their diet so that they are fall only on workout days mainly, or they eat carbs every single day, but match them to be eaten around your workout.
That said, I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Just focus on eating a balanced diet and consistently being in a deficit. Once you get closer to your goal weight, you can worry about nutrient timing. |

Rep Power: 35 | | Morning, Steve. I came up with a nice new name for my journal. It's based on the name you chose for yours. I figured out, at the rate I'm losing weight, I'll be almost 69 years old by the time I lose it all. So I should rename my journal, "A Journey, Because I Forgot What the Destination Was" |
