So how's your rest day going??? | Rest day is going excellent. I might actually go and do some steady state cardio to get some active recovery going. I am really sore from these new workouts. |

Now that stuff works wonders! | Yes, I have used biofreeze when I was injured before. However, when the pain is from DOMS, I find active recovery to do the trick. Or, just wait it out. |

Rep Power: 182 | | When people put their body through a new or unique stress, like my new lifting routine that my body is not used to, most people become very sore. My legs, for instance, feel like jello and are sore, even to the touch. I am walking around like I have a stick up my butt.
By lightly exercising, like a brief, very light intensity jog (active recovery) you can actually rid yourself of the soreness (sometimes) and speed up the repair phase of the fatigue-repair curve. |

Just wanted to drop in and say I am finally seeing some results due to watching what I eat! I have lost 4 pounds in a week, which I am very happy about. Thanks for opening up my eyes!
Ya gotta watch what you eat in order to lose weight, can't just exercise! LOL | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
