Truthfully, while one person may look amazing at 240 standing 5'9, another may look absolutely terrible relative to personal preference. If he had a large, muscular build before hand, chances are, as he starts shedding this fat, he will uncover a nice frame. At what weight that frame will look "ideal" is very dependent. His best bet is to keep shedding the soft stuff and see what surprises lay below.
Thanks STEVE, I guess time will tell eh??? Thanks for you imput!!!
By the way your article was a big hit in my group!!!
Got some good conversations going and goal setting too!!! (for individuals who had never set any goals before!!!)

Well I hope things get a wee bit better, sounds like they aren't that bad. There is a bug going around, watch it. I have a real bad head cold.

Rest day is going excellent. I might actually go and do some steady state cardio to get some active recovery going. I am really sore from these new workouts.

That's good to hear! Hey if your sore just put some icy/hot stuff on it...makes the pain go away nice and quick...(sometimes lol)
Nah, I hate the smell of that stuff. I would rather do some active recovery.
smell???? what smell???....lol actually the smell doesn't bother me. I really like the biofreeze you can get from the Chriopracter's (spelling) office. Now that stuff works wonders!

Yes, I have used biofreeze when I was injured before. However, when the pain is from DOMS, I find active recovery to do the trick. Or, just wait it out.
When people put their body through a new or unique stress, like my new lifting routine that my body is not used to, most people become very sore. My legs, for instance, feel like jello and are sore, even to the touch. I am walking around like I have a stick up my butt.
By lightly exercising, like a brief, very light intensity jog (active recovery) you can actually rid yourself of the soreness (sometimes) and speed up the repair phase of the fatigue-repair curve.

Hi Steve,
Just wanted to drop in and say I am finally seeing some results due to watching what I eat! I have lost 4 pounds in a week, which I am very happy about. Thanks for opening up my eyes!
Ya gotta watch what you eat in order to lose weight, can't just exercise! LOL
