Off to sing and dance somewhere else. | I must say, I am impressed with your adherance and it is obviously paying off! Very cool.
The beauty of lifting the way that you are is simple: People don't realize that when you do cardio, the steady state variety anyways which most do around here, you burn the calories while you exercise, and then it's over. When you lift in a fashion that I set up for you in your journal, calorie burn goes on for hours after the workout. Your caloric burn can be elevated for 24hours even. Makes a word of difference, when compared to your lousy steady state cardio.
Remember, all plans lead to plateaus, so stay on your toes and modifications will have to be made along the way. |

He calls it as he sees it... and that is what you get from me.
Funny thing is, 99% of the time when I am posting here, I don't mean to be harsh at all. But you are not the first to say this to me, so I must have a side to me that comes out in my writing.
So be it, I am who I am. |

Rep Power: 24 | | I like Simon too. I like that he doesn't sugar coat everything, and nor do you! It's nice to get some straight forward answers without having to dance around topics. If I'm doing something that's going to hurt myself, I'd rather someone tell me that it may not be the best way to go about it. If I don't like what they say, I ignore it. What effect do their words really have on my everyday life..
In this case, a positive effect, since I listened. |
