Ummmm.... errrr.... that was the email you forwarded to me that James sent you, remember? He's the one with the filthy tranny brown eye fetish. However, I was the one who made home videos. You really need to keep tabs on all of this, Steve.

Hahaha, I was almost afraid to click on my journal to see what you posted in response. This I can live with.

Now end this nonsense as I have a reputation to maintain.

HA! No problem. I'll stay out of your diary for a couple days. I'll let the waters calm down a bit. Afterall, too much of a good thing is bad bad bad.

Quote and Ramble of the Day

"If you want to know the past, to know what has caused you, look at yourself in the PRESENT, for that is the past's effect. If you want to know your future, then look at yourself in the PRESENT, for that is the cause of the future."

"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing."

************************************************** ********

I have a weakness and that weakness is establishing momentum in multiple tasks. Aside from a few slip-ups, my training and nutrition are static...... always progressing. It is that way b/c I've been doing it for such a long time.

However, when you throw multiple things into the mix, I suck. I realize that it takes focus on each individual factor at a time but my natural inclination is to focus on all the factors and is brings progress to a claw.

I've identified the problem.... now it's on me to do something about it.

and you will do something about it...

you don't need me for unsolicted advice... but -eh - I'm a busy body- -just prioriize and do what's the most most most important first and do that - then go down the list...

I really do believe it's that simple. And I like lists.

The problem is I've known that's what needs to be done and I still don't do it. It's as if I 'squish' all the tasks together into one giant shit ball of a task and my subconscious mind says to my conscious mind, "You boobie head, don't you think that's way too much to tackle..... how about you spend the entire day on the web instead?"

OOH boobie head....

you really call yourself boobie head?

that's so cute 0

I'm distracted now...

You've now run headfirst into the problem a lot of people trying to lose weight face... Man, in order to lose weight I have to do X, Y, Z, A, B, C -t hat's too much to do -I'm just gonna do nothing instead.. and take a pill...

But when you break it down -and do X - and get X done - then do Y and get Y done -one s tep at a time... then it all gets done -maybe not as fast as you'd originally hoped but it gets done...

You're right.... and I've known it. That's what gets to me more than anything.... that I know it.

I think it's a matter of me letting myself be lazy at the moment. I've gone through stages where I've gotten more done than some do in a lifetime.

But that momentum comes and goes. I need to spend more time focusing on a broadening my 'mental training'. I usually only focus on physique and happiness.

But it's time to change that.

i know you dont -but don't shortsell happiness -that's something that a lot of people would love to have at their fingertips...

a little laziness never killed anyone... as long as it's not a lifetyle commitment and i doubt that would ever be you... a break is sometimes what your body, mind and spirit need.

you've been thru some massive life changes over the past year -a break to refocus is sometimes needed.-

though if you want a kick in the butt, I'm wearng pointy toed high heels today

I guess I always feel a sense of urgency. I have a lot I want to accomplish yet in life. I think a lot of people have a lot of things they want to accomplish. But I think a lot of people don't end up getting to half of it. And I don't want that to be me.

The older I get, the shorter I realize life is. When I factor this into the equation of how much I want to accomplish.... urgency accumulates.

And I think said urgency is the root of my problems with momentum in multiple areas. That and a lack of mental organization.

Index cards help

you'll get what you need to get done... done... while I have faith in you... that doesn't help you... you have faith in yourself and you'll get there..

patience grasshopper patience...

Life maybe short but it gets a lot shorter when you're rushing thru it not taking time out to smell the roses and all that..

Yea, you're right. It's all about finding a balance. And I do believe I've got balance.

balance is tough -i'm still working on that... but i find if i stand on one leg with my eyes closed and hold that position for a bit - it helps - though I tend to tip over occassionally

thank you thank you

I'll be here all week don't forget to tip your waitress

Hahaha, I was born with that kind of balance thankfully. I hurt myself enough.... I don't need to be falling down left and right too.
