Rep Power: 182 | | Haha, consistency is the backbone of everything in my world..... and from what I can tell, it's the same for everyone else too.
And yea, I'm beating those bastards off feverishly and I can sense victory.
************
As much as my journal was full of doom and gloom yesterday...... I really am in okay spirits. I'm more motivated than ever before. That's good considering I've always been a motivated person. The more I get backed in to the corner, the more I feel the need to excel and push forward. While things are falling apart on one side, everything is coming together on the other and that's something to be damn happy about.
So I'll keep focusing on what I care about and let that which doesn't mean much to me play out however it's going to play out and not worry much about it. |

Rep Power: 217 | | | never once thought for a moment you were holding your head in youor hands singing the woe is me woe is me song...
Just never forget, that you are never alone.. you've got tons of people (real and virtual and some who are virtually real as well) who do care about you and will listen anytime you want to unburden... they might not be able to fix the situation but sometimes saying things outloud makes them a lot less ... ummm... for lack of a better word... overwhelming... |

Rep Power: 182 | | | I live about 40 minutes outside of Philly.
I had a meeting in there today.
Total travel time was 4.5 hours.
Just lovely. |

Just lovely. | 4.5 hours in traffic, eh? And during that time, how many long armed middle fingers did you thrust out of your jeep window? Hmmmmm? Yah.. and there's no need to say it. I missed me too.

I'd ask what's up, but I'm sure you'll be updating everyone in your journal.
I missed ya. |

Rep Power: 182 | | | So after a long, rough day yesteday, I woke up and decided to stay home. I told the office I'd be working from home. More than likely though, I'll be working on the other business, lol.
I actually started writing a book/pamphlet last night that will be given to each of our clients. It's nothing special, just an introduction to the basic concepts.....
Unlike other trainers, we actually want out clients to learn a thing or two and get the hell out there on their own with confidence.
But time is dwindling down too quick.... so I have to keep my ass busting out work for the next couple of months. I'm on a roll though, so I'm not too concerned. |

Rep Power: 217 | | I like that concept - actually having your clients learning and not just doing what they're told to do...
If you want some help with PDFing or m aking pretty your pamphlet - I've got quark and Indesign and know how to use 'em |

Rep Power: 182 | | | Haha, I don't know what either of those things are but if you can make it prettier than me.... by all means. When it's done, I'll send it your way and let you toy around with it.
Aside from the content just being started a day or two ago, I have to wait for the logo to be finished so for the cover.
Thanks! |

Rep Power: 217 | | both those things are desktop publishing applications - that you can use to make your text look nicer than just what word could do...
and if you PDF if - (portable document format) you can have it available from your website as a download - acrobat reader which is a free application will allow anyone to open it
I can't wait to see the logo |

Rep Power: 182 | | | I don't want just anyone to get it though. As I'm all for giving away free, good information.... but I want this to be solely for our clients (and a few worthy people). Though I cover, and will continue to do so, all the same information on this forum (as I will on my own and all the others I chat on), the packaged advice I want to be for our clients.
It would be emailed or sent to them as part of the introductory communication where we are doing all our interviewing and whatnot. This way, while we're generating an action plan, they'll be getting up to snuff on the basics. |

Rep Power: 182 | | I'm very happy it's Friday. What's I'm not happy about is I'll have to take another week off from lifting next week, which sucks considering I just had a week off last week.
Such is life though.
Tonight is my night to relax, as all weekend I'll be working with Gord on the business. Tomorrow morning I plan on going to a local gym and finding out information about how they handle their trainers.... I might start working for a gym again. Then, after lunch, I'm heading out to Gord's house and spendind the night there. I'm sure we'll go out too for St. Pattys day.
But we have a lot of work to get done..... it's fun being busy with this stuff though. It's amazing what work 'feels' like when it's something you truly love opposed to what work feels like when it's a job you can't stand. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
