Happy Thursday to you | Thanks Mal, I don't fly out until tomorrow morning. However, I am staying with a friend tonight.... so you can say I am leaving right after work. I am excited. |

Rep Power: 182 | | | 2 Quotes of the Day "Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising, which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires...courage."
"Happiness is to be found along the way, not at the end of the road, for then the journey is over and it is too late. Today, this hour, this minute is the day, the hour, the minute for each of us to sense the fact that life is good, with all of its trials and troubles, and perhaps more interesting because of them." |

Im reading way too much into the first one - the courage part is absolutely true but as you've found on this forum especially that the path that some people do choose is not always the correct one - no matter what they believe and they do need a critic to tell them otherwise...
the second quote I love and I've read before - i just don't remember where from - but it's absolutely true... and i find myself repeating a variation of it when i hear people say that whenthey get to their goal they will be happy - the tough part is being happy now... |

On the first one, I think you have to think more along the lines of, the thought of trying to live a more healthy lifestyle is good, and there are always going to be people trying to knock you down. There are always going to be people that don't approve of what you do, no matter what your choice is. The idea is, live life for you. Without your own happiness, what do you really have? |
