People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.
Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.
2. I ran yesterday. It feels good to get back into running. I wouldn't label myself as a runner. I'm only doing 20-30 minutes twice per week. Anymore than that would make bulking next to impossible for me. But it feels good. I need to build some endurance in my legs for upcoming hikes. The weather and temps are perfect right now for running... it's nice to spend solitary time outside.
3. I believe there will be only one more entry in the blog with the Lyle interview. I already started interviewing Mike Vallely and to be honest, I'm not to happy with it so far. I'm not sure if it will make the blog or not... all depends on how he responds to the next round or two of questions.
And if Armageddon is truly upon us as some loonies would like us to believe, well...
Then it's time for survival of the fittest.
And I've been training for that my entire life.
So cute, and it makes sense to me! I'm with ya on that one. Uh, huh huh, running really fast for long periods of time most likely would be a good attribute......perhaps I should practice running with my M1 on one shoulder and my .308 on the other? Actually, that might be pretty fucking cool!
I think if it came down to survival of the fittest, I'd try not to run much. Energy would be scarce so it would be all about stealth and power. Energy conservation would be of utmost importance.
BTW, I'm glad you're running again and it feels good. I ran that half marathon that Miss JB and Melissa did on Sunday, and it was amazing to me because I didn't know I could run that far with the pace I kept. Perhaps it was all the yuppies around me. I was no yuppie--I wore a BANDANNA, not a visor!

Not in Boulder Creek! We do things a little differently in the backwoods, maihn
Yes I thought about that--but sometimes you might not be able to hide...
