last nite had corned beef, spinache and boiled eggs( i loved it)
corned beef had 3g fat, 7g carbs and it tasted excellent

corned beef, and chilli with provita

friut salad with low fat fruit yogurt

i had a great day today and the water drinking is also improving, i have lost alot of centimeters and my confidence is on ahigh lately because i am fitting into my old clothes again and i can wear my jeans i missed so much.

i found out that roughage or fibre is really good for the body and for keeping regular it is also good for diabetics so fill in on the fibre

hi did everyone have agood weekend? south africa is freezing, its winter and i snuggled in this weekend. i made a lovely bean soup with chicken and it was divine.
ive dropped another 2 this week but the cm loss ive had is amazing. well i plan to lose another two this week and goodluck to all.

I WONT BE POSTING TOMMOROW ITS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY, ITS FREEDOM DAY, THE DAY NELSON MANDELA WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON. I ENJOY THIS DAY SO MUCH BECAUSE WHEN HE WAS RELEASED HE BROUGHT HOPE TO THE SOULS OF SO MANY BLACK SOUTH AFRICANS, EVEN OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOUR AND HE UNITED US. Be proud of yourself Jade..this is tough..it is toughest to look at ourselves and realize that WE are the only ones to blame..but the beauty of that is WE are the ones who can Change it all! We can take our health and bodies into our own control and realize that a guilty pleasure isnt worth it! I am finding that when I remake an old meal I used to eat ..to something w/ less calories and fat..I actually still like it and maybe more because im not bloated or feeling disgusted w/ myself after. Im finding Im eating more fish and chic and veggies & fruits and some whole grains. I just want to be healthy and if that means getting thinner..sounds great!
Keep up the good work!

Oh Jade thats sucks sorry to hear your not feeling well,hopefully itll blow over soon and youll be back to feeling like yourself again. get some rest and drink lots a fluid(i sound like my mom now lol)get well soon

i had a great long weekend, i ate out and stuck to my diet had a green salad and chicken fillet at my regular restuarant, we also went to a braai(barbeque) and i had grilled chicken and green salad i enjoyed it so much and i was proud i didnt feel out of place. the only booh booh is that i have not been drinkin water i probaly would have lost more last week, however this week im going to be more strict with water. i feel really good lately and its almost one month that ive been on the forum.

breakfast
oats herbal tea and banana

lunch
fruit salad
dinner

chicken and salad

ive been eating lots of chicken lately so forgive me if my meals are a bit boring but i love chicken.

it was officially a month yesterday that i have been on my "diet" and i must say I have adjusted quite well, i would like to thank everyone who posts too me and all the support that came from you too. well its a new month and im still on track

oats and fat free milk


lunch

avo and provitas


dinner

chicken with vegies

it is funny when we cook for people how they dont even notice the difference when you dont use oil, last night i prepared dinner for my man and he didnt even notice i did not put oil in the mince and that i was using lean mince (which he hates) he also asked for a second helping. the secret was garlic and coriander with a little masala.
