I'm always impressed by people who can actually get up earlier than they absolutely have to & workout. I'm one of those people who has to try & get as many zzzzs before work as possible & usually get up at the last minute, rush to get ready & get there. Got that routine down, but I can't imagine actually working out too! Without caffiene Im a zombie & a grump before 10 am.

Good luck on getting motivated & getting that energizer bunny feeling!

Oh NO!!!!!! I feel like I'm getting a bladder infection. Ow Ow Ow. If it doesn't feel better tomorrow, I may have to schedule an appointment to see the doctor.

I have a doctors appt this AM and will return to the regular schedule as soon as the pain starts to go away, and if it's not by this afternoon, then I'll be hitting the treadmill this afternoon.

Verdict is in. UTI it is and meds are on their way.. well, I have to pick them up after 3pm today. Sophie, I'll have to do my treadmill this afternoon as well as on Thursday this week (unless I can get up at 7am, which I'll try) because I have a dr appt on Thursday at 9am.

Snack
1 slice bread 50 cals
1 tbsp pb 95 cals

Dinner
Chicken Casserole & peas 400 cals

Snack
Ice Cream 300 cals

Beverages 1/2 cup coffee w/sweet n low, 54.9 oz water,

Exercise 2 minutes on the treadmill. UGH. The walking was aggravating my infection and making me feel like I had to go potty every 2 seconds, so I'm waiting it out a day or so..I hope these meds kick in by later today though! I really wanna get back on the treadmill.

Total Calories:
625 + 700= 1325 cals today!

So, the scale keeps going up up up, but I'm not getting discouraged. Yesterday it went up by 1.2 lbs and today by .2 lbs. I'm sure it's a fluke as I have been counting my calories religiously and exercising some. Maybe it's sodium or I need to do as another user said take a "big fat dump" !

At any rate, I'm sticking to it through the UTI and will hit the treadmill this evening after class and my meds. I also am excited about getting my physical on Thursday with the Bloodwork. Can't wait to see what my cholesterol is.

Anyway, I hope you all are having a fabulous day!! I'll check back later! Ciao!!

On another note, when I went to get weighed this morning, the lady put the scale at 100 and started to go up from there. I kind of chuckled to myself and then told her she needed to move the thing up to 150 since I weighed more than that. It made me feel good and then she exclaimed that I didn't look like I weighed over 150. WOOHOO!

Also, when I discussed the weight goals with the doc he said that I was going to be a stick. LOL. I thought that was funny, because even at my smallest, I wasn't a stick!

Again, hope you all have a great day!

That's hilarious I'm going to use that one as my stand-by excuse
That's cool about the lady at the doctor's not believing you are in the 150's. Shows your hard work is paying off

Thanks, Rachie!

It doesn't seem to be doing much, I better see like 3 lbs down from what the scale said this morning on Thursday or I'm not going to meet my goal.

I have been honest with what I am eating and exercising with all my posts, and I hope that I see something soon. On another note, the scale that I have shows your weight, fat, muscle and water content supposedly from the reading on the scale and even if it's isn't 100% accurate, the fat #'s going down and the muscle #'s are going up! WOOHOO!

Hey that's cool! I am working up to buy a new scale and I think that info would keep me extra motivated!!! What kind of scale do you have photocrazed?

Good luck for Thursday, you have been working hard and it's always good to see fat down and muscle up. Just remember the muscle is heavier but leaves you looking sleeker!

Rachie,

The scale I have is in the attachment below or can be seen here.

To All (including me)...

I finally have a doctors appointment to get a well physical which will consist of weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and all the goodies that go along with it. I'll discuss my goal weight with the physician and make sure I'm healthy enough to be doing the exercises and running that I'm doing, which I don't foresee any problems.

The scale still says that I am up from my lowest of 157.8 and I'm not sure what I am or am not doing that I can be doing differently. I have been watching my calories etc, exercising and drinking butt loads of water (most days). I guess I need to kick things up a notch and not only do my treadmill, but also do some strength training, which I wasn't planning to incorporate until at least next week!

Do you think I may not be getting enough calories and my body is in starvation mode? I am eating between 1300-1500 calories each day. Could it be that I'm eating too much? This is such a frustrating process to determine where my consumption needs to be. I know it's only been a week, but when I was eating less calories, I think I was actually losing and when I increased them, I haven't really seen anything.

Thanks for the link to the scale photocrazed.
As for calorie intake and whether you are in a starvation mode, I am not sure. I would stick with it for another week and see. I had to wait a couple of weeks before I dropped any pounds but I was definitely noticing a difference in my shape. Has the scale gone up a lot? I don't understand how it could because you sound like you are working so hard!

I am quite lucky. I have lots of work out equipment and a work out room.

I have an exercise ball, a large padded exercise mat, treadmill, power tower, bow flex Ultimate, and the bow flex dumbells, and an ab doer.

So, I need to make use of ALL of my equipment, which I will be doing as soon as I incorporate my calisthenics and strength training into my program.
