so today i was in selfridges in the food hall section and i was in the american groceries section (i was looking for that kashi cereal that everyone raves about on here) but they didnt have it and mydays i swear i must have been dribbling..
i nearly gave in and bought some of that marshmallow spread stuff? and all those jellys and hersheys chocolate and oreos and chocolate and marshmallow cereal?!?! wowwwwwwww
but i resisted and didnt buy anything apart from some honey and green fig jam for my dads birthday.

i am a bit of a cereal addict im afraid... thats one of my problems i had. i could eat about 5 bowls of cereal a day.. get through a 500g cereal box a day. not good when i wasnt doing any exercise or when it was something very high in sugar like coco pops or frosties. although my actual addiction was crunchy nut cornflakes. if i had to choose one thing to eat for ever and ever and i couldnt have anything else it would be crunchy nut cornflakes they are actuall heaven. but they have gone for now. so right now i am trying out cranberry muesli - quite high in cals but its all carbs and natural stuff .. useful carb loading for my race tomorrow

Ok, I have devised a new plan. I am using a spreadsheet to track my weight loss/gain as well as the muscle/fat #'s that the scale says on a daily basis. While I'm not sure of the accuracy, it should at least give me some additional motivation when I only see the weight increasing but the fat decreasing.

thats a great idea because then you wont have so much panic time .. like when the scales go up you can go and look at the spread sheet and say actually thats 2% more muscle so thats why or something. i really need to do that i guess..but we have crappy scales at our house.. they arent even digital let alone the ones with muscle and fat percentages. i dont dare ask for some for my birthday though because i will get a rant about losing weight
so i will save up..haha i was gona buy some today but i splurged all my money on clothes and jewellery instead..hey a girls got to do what a girls got to do
also i worked 6 days out of 7 this week so i deserved it haha

I got on the scale this morning and to my surprise, the weight has gone down by .6 which means I am 1.6 lbs from my lowest thus far. I plan to do my HIIT routine this afternoon and continue working toward my weekly goal of 8 miles. It doesn't look like I made it last week, because I didn't get on the treadmill yesterday, but I'll make sure I make it this week! =)

Thanks, Rachie! It's definitely a new week. My scale continues to increase in muscle and decrease in fat content, but the scale again went down. The water also looked like it was an increase.
My HIIT was rough last night. I did it about an hour after having a chicken sandwich, and my tummy didn't like it. I didn't barf or anything like that, it just hurt like crazy!
This week, I am going to start (I hope) my strength training on MWF in addition to my HIIT routines and reaching my 8 mile goal on the treadmill.
I still need to find a way to do all the exercise I need and still do my school work. hmmmm
Thank you, be_gone_soon! You too!!!

Oh, one good thing about last night. At 12:00am, hubby wanted some oatmeal to snack on. I prepared it for him and picked up a 100 cal fat free pudding pack from the fridge for myself. I took a spoon out of the drawer and was all ready to head upstairs and eat my pudding even though I knew I would be going over my calories for the day. I found the will power to put it back in the fridge, put the spoon back in the drawer and took hubby his stuff
It IS getting easier.
