One day at a time

I am new on here. My name is Felica. I will make my long story as short as I can. I am a dedicated mother of 5, 3 of which are my own and 2 step children. I had my tubes tied - and just 5 months ago found out we were expecting ! So we prepared for this journey and last week we lost the baby at 28 weeks. I am an emotional rollercoaster still but physically I am ok. I want to turn over a new leaf. I want to get healthy , look good and move on with my life. My current weight is 190 lbs. I am 5' 7" . My target weight is 135. But I am really happy with around 150. I am a "thick" girl. I have always been big in my butt and thighs and I like it like that. BUT my belly runneth over ) and I would like to slim up the thighs a bit. Yesterday I sat down with the kids and talked about new meal plans. ( One of our children is a diabetic) and today I gutted the fridge and cabinets and replenished with more healthy options. I have one bad habit I would like to be rid of or know of a better option and that is SWEETS. Name it I love it. I have a sweet tooth with no limit. I just want to stay on this train and get in shape. I hope to find the help and support I need here.

Thanks ! I just bought 4 cases of water we are on well where I live. So water and low fat milk are the only 2 options I am giving myself to drink.
