Rep Power: 0 | | well took a couple days off the exercise because i deserved it, diet remained pretty strict.
Went on a 7 mile run today, for distance it was my personal best but i didnt even care about the speed. I made some mistakes though, i didnt properly hydrate the day before so after about 5 miles in i started feeling the fatigue hardcore. Temps were @ 100 degrees.
I ran and walked when i felt like it but didnt let my HR go under zone 3 and i averaged zone 3.5 for the whole run and burned 1220 calories, with a bit more then 50% of those coming from fat.
The 7 miles included a mile cool down @ zone 2.5. When i got home i made myself a meal shake with 50% more carbs then usual and drank 1 gallon of very refreshing water. And seriously, it doesnt feel like i even went on a run, thats the magic of a long but fast cool down.
And i dont know if i told you guys but my mexico trip is back on and im really really excited. Gonna charge up my ipod and forerunner and run Rockypoint. Cool thing about the forerunner is that i can run wherever and then push a back to start button and it will tell my exactly what direction and how far with a visual map to run back to where i started, i can never get lost.
Now i need to work on finding a good neoprene belt that holds a water bottle but it cant flop around @ all, that really really bugs me.
Fun day, few pounds lighter, feeling great

Rep Power: 0 | | Well i went on a night run because i might not get to run again untill tomorrow night and i knew something was wrong from the get go. About 3/4 into the run my ipod just shuts down, no worky worky
But its my fault and i know why. These shuffles tend not to handle moisture too well and i keep mine on the lanyard under my UnderArmor shirt. It got soaked tonight and died, its cool though cause i have a 4 year extended warrantee from Best Buy and they replace no hassles.
Gonna get a new one tomorrow.
Killed the rest of my run though, i cant run without music, its boring. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Lol, its easy. Its all about how much work you put into it. And i was programmed from a young age with a "pain is cleansing" mindset.
Anyways, i was watching a BBQ show on the foodnetwork and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, i was drooling the whole time. I think ima bbq some chicken in the next few days, maybe some lean flank steak.
Oh, and i bought a Fuel belt which is the coolest way to carry water on a run and when you run in 100 degree temps you really need alot of water. http://www.fuelbelt.com/te6be.html
I havent run with it yet but i filled all the bottles with water and they didnt bounce one bit while running in place. They will also add some weight which means more resistance but no more hitting "the WALL" and hour and a half into a run. Cost about $40, great great product though. I'll give a review later.

Rep Power: 0 | | Holy crap, why didnt i buy one of these three months ago
I only carried two bottles but it was the perfect amount for a 3.5 mile night run, 14 ounces in all. I never felt dehydrated or even had drymouth, i also didnt run with gum. I ALWAYS ran with gum before to keep the saliva going, always half a stick of sugar free winterfresh. Now i dont need to have the gum, its cool.
I also didnt feel any bounce @ all even with different water levels in the bottles, and the back support was great also. It was SOOOOOO nice to get a fresh sip of water anytime i wanted without stopping and not havto carry any bottle in my hands. Seriously i didnt even notice i was wearing the belt @ all.
And the best part...
I cut 7 minutes off my best previous time and i wasnt even going hard. My muscles felt fresh the whole way to. Before this belt i was stopping @ gas stations for water but only on long runs (6+ miles). Now i realised that even @ night and even on a short run i was getting dehydrated and it was hurting my performance BAD.
Another cool thing is that Fuel Belt also has 10 ounce bottles available that fit in all their products so i can upgrade my now 42 ounce capacity to a 60 ounce capacity later on for only $20. Thats pretty much a half gallon of water i can carry without even knowing its there, perfect for day desert trail running.
I feel awesome
great product

Rep Power: 0 | | diet: same ol but no milk
did another 3.5 miler but i was feeling crappy from the get go. I ran out of milk to mix with my various powders and i had to use water which is YUCKY. On my run i was burping a whole hell of alot cause of it and i just felt bad. Also i think i tied my shoes a bit too tight the other night cause i squished a toe nail and its all purple and it hurts. It hurt on this run too.
Well ima shower and goto bed and wake up all early tomorrow to give the F****** city all my hard earned cash, bastards. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hmmm, kinda like a cheat day for my today
Meal shake
Salad buffet place for lunch
Footlong veggie sub for dinner
Protein shake before bed.
You can really tell the difference if you eat every three hours the switch to 3 bigger meals a day. I felt really tired after the salad buffet place and took a nap which i never ever do. Ima rest today though, no running, but maybe some situps and pushups or weights.
Really excited for friday, my innerscan scale should be @ my doorstep then i can give you guys the results. And for the first time i will really know exactly whats going on. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | oh yeah, i noticed my water intake has dropped a bit during the day and its getting hotter (100+ degree days). So im compensating by drinking a 1/2 to 1 gallon of wawa before bedtime. |

Rep Power: 20 | | | I wish i could run..honestly I just cant do it yet..I say yet because I know I will be able to someday. I find I do it wrong and then i get shin splints even when i warm up and my asthma kicks in and then im dyin. Walking though is great for me..I can really push myself (at like 3 or 3.5 mph) and then I do lots of hills and grades and get a really great workout. I just started tennis also which requires short bursts of running so im hoping that will strengthen my legs more and my lung power...and then who knows! I have to agree w/ Michele, you do have amazing dedication Vince... I can only imagine working out that hard everyday in that heat...uggh im sweating just thinking about it |

I think ima run untill i cant anymore, then 10 more steps, then 10 more steps.....
On a different note i got my scale and i will post numbers later. I am kinda dissapointed with my body fat percentage, 16.8%. But i still have about 25 lbs to lose so its all cool. |
