Day 7 continued. Already got my 20 minutes workout on the gazelle freestyle. And did my little bit of weight lifting. Had a banana for breakfast. I'm drinking lots of water. I'm so ready to get in shape.

Lunch-1 serving of low fat chili 1 slice of cheese, more water, hot sauce, about 10 wheat tortilla chips and a little bit of ranch dressing

about 700 calories so far

You are doing great business Stuco! By the way, I lose weight easy at 2,200 cals per day, and I'm only 5ft 8"! Mind you - it also depends on your lifestyle, ie how busy you keep yourself throughout the week, how much energy that you use at work, how many hours, how much you walk/cycle around, what kind of work, how much exercise etc. 1,500 was definitely too low for you!

You're doing great, keep it going!

Day 8

weight 279

Lost one pound (finally). Will try to get some exercise in today but will definately keep the calories under 2500. Thanks for all the support everyone. Five pounds are gone and my first week is finished and I feel very good about it. THanks for all your encouragement.

Hey! Thanks for posting on my journal! You are doing great! I don't think I could handle weighing myself every single day, though. The reason just because your weight fluctuates throughout the week, so weighing in every day can get kind of confusing and even a little frustrating at times. I try to weigh myself on the same day each week or two weeks, right when I wake up, after I use the bathroom. It's more exciting to wait, and I also if I mess up one day I feel I can make it up the next day. But everyone is different, so if weighing in every day is the way you like it, then keep it up! 5 pounds in the first week is excellent!

meadowscm, Everyone has their own thing that works for them. Neither is better than the other. It just works for me to weigh everyday to stay on track. Thanks everyone.
