Nice day today! I went for a walk with my daughter this morning 45 minutes, we took my dog and neighbors dog.
When we came back i did some gardening. I had to replant my tulips from my yard to the front of the house, lots of digging i have about thousand more bulbs to plant on the side of the house, and most likely give away the rest. We bought this home 9 months ago, so i havnt seen it in the spring, and boy did these people love tulips!! Gardening 4 hours! nice workout.
Then i went to pick up my son, and we walked to the park and sat there for around 30 minutes.

Now listen to this! I let my son go play with his friends (ages 6,7,8,10)across the street from the park. I had my eye on him the whole time.

The kids then started head for the curb so i and ran to help them cross the street. They wanted to play in the park. While i was headed that way, a cop pulls up with sirens as if something had happened..

I was in shock, i had no clue what was going on. Then listening to the cop, he said that the 10 yr old had caused a car to swurve, but how? the boy said he lost control of his scooter, and brakes didnt work. Now the cop, had a problem with the boys attitude.. I saw no attitude in this kid.. Looked like th boy was scared of him and turned away.. The cop got out of the car, and started SCREAMING at this little 10 yr old..wtf??? he told him "with that attitude, I'd love to slap your face and maybe it will go away" then he wanted to arrest him!!!! wtf???????? he is 10 yrs old! I was in shock i didn't know what to tell the cop! Well another parent stepped in , she was watching this 10 yr old boy afterschool. And boy did she tell this cop off!! She pretty much screamed at him, and asked him how the hell are you going to go ahead and scare this poor boy and want to arrest him? and put sirens on?

Now i told the cop that i had seen no car swurving, and i had my eye on them the whole time..He said with a smart ass attitude, I have kept an eye on them from a distance..whatever , i didnt see no cop there at all..LIAR!

HIs face turned beet red! got in his car and pulled away.

This is going to be reported at the station....soo wrong.

You've got those good cops, and then you have those that think they are the shit (pardon my language) because they are officers, and those i have met a few..

Ohh that's how my daughter was when i wanted to take her, but i blame myself for that, because i never liked to walk either so we always drove. She is now enjoying it. I'm not sure if its the walking she enjoys, or taking the dogs out for a walk, i have one leash she has the other. I didnt mention she is 5 yrs old too. I have one dog now, but i seem to be more motivated in taking walks with the dogs! lol i dont know why that is , but i am planning on getting another dog maybe next week. My dog enjoys going on walks with my neighbor's dog. He should me be happier too

wow my diary is dead today

Anywhoooo...My menu was terrible today.. I had no food in the morning..none! no bread, no fruits, completely nothing..My friends came over in the morning, we played rummy till 5:00pm! Morning i had nothing to eat

around lunch time, i found i had 2 pieces of bread left. SO i had one with peanut butter and jelly. My daughter had the other piece.
Calories total 150 cal

I didnt eat until 6pm , my husband brought some very yummy food from the polish deli down the block.. omg!! was that delicious..I know i overdid it, i ate like a pig.. The food wasnt fattening though..I had around 5 little potato dumplings, about 1/2 cup sour kraut, baked chicken thigh, coleslaw, and this piece of what looked like a hamburger patty, but was made of veal and in this spicy tomato sauce. That alone must have weighed 1/2 pound!

I'm pretty sure i fit in my 1200-1500 caloric range.

Wow how was i able to starve myself like this 3 weeks ago? i never ate..
Today i was going almost crazy without any food. Interesting..

Oh, it boggles my mind how I used to starve myself without thinking about it - No breakfast, no lunch then night time binging beyond belief!

I'm glad those days are over - I am ALWAYS eating now!

Howdy Crazy,
Congrats on losing 1+lbs!!! It messes me up when I skip breakfast and I go to do my calories at the end of the night ans it barely makes it over 1000 and my breakfast is close to 200 cals.Your doing great and walking the dogs is very good and fun exersicing I love to walk my dog plus everyone that sees him is so fasinated by him becasue he is a white boxer and you don't see that many of them.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and keep up that hard work,Tammy

Saturday, mar.24

Did more gardening today, cleaning yard, front of house for 4 hours.. i dont think i want to exercise today..Gardening can give you a kick in the butt after a while, but i love doing it. Tomorrow is supposed to be 75 degrees.. wahoo!! i guess i will be gardening some more, well actually setting up the garden, i need to remove the grass, around 15x10 + feet of it , and get it ready for my veggies and such. Then with my husband home, i can maybe leave my kids home and go for a long walk maybe do some jogging if i am not too sore from the gardening, anyhoo those are my plans for tomorrow.

Anyone else here into gardening? I have some rose bushes and not sure if i should prune them now or wait. Stems are starting to turn green.

Menu today..

Breakfast -I dont remember , what a bad memory

Lunch - sandwich - 2 pieces rye bread 180 calories , 98% fat free ham. calories unsure, 1 table spoon miracle whip 40 calories, mustard

Dinner - Cabbage/saurkraut eggroll - calories dont know.

Hadn't much time to snack today, need to fit in more fruits and veggies again.

Howdy Crazy,
I try to make my front yard look nice BUT I am a rookie
in the gardening department.I have 2 beautiful rose bushes in my yard
they bloom multi colored roses but they don't stay pretty long the only
thing I know is you are suppose to snip off the dead flowers and buds and
they rebloom. I hope you have a nice Sunday enjoy your gardening,Tammy

Yes, i always snip the dead flowers off too, but i know you're supposed to prune the stems off sometime in the spring before the bloom in the summer, i just don't know when

gwal is a jewel in the rough
I am so jealous that Chicago is having 75 degree weather. I live near Buffalo, so still feels like winter here! We are supposed to get a hint of spring this week...cannot wait to crack open a few windows.

I like gardening too, but we have a problem with deer in my neighborhood, so any investment of time or money is usually wasted. They eat everything, even the stuff people say is "deer proof." I have a friend who has her husband pee in her garden every night (discretely) just to keep the deer away. What we won't do!

I'm glad you put your picture as your avatar...I like putting a face to a name. You look great!

Keep in touch.

Jen
