Along with many of you, i have struggled with my weight for a while now, and tried a few different diets. Green tea, metabolife, hydroxycut, fruit and rice diet, and Atkins. I have been lucky with the Atkinsdiet but it just wasnt for me. I am now on a low calorie, low fatdiet, and exercise.
My name is Jo, I am 26 yrs old. 5'6 and weighing 198pounds. Mom of 2 wonderful kids I am very unhappy with the way i look. I carry most of my weight in my waist and bust. I'm soo happy to be here I know i can do this...

Exciting day..Looking forward to this journey. I have taken pictures of myself , side front back, and hoping one day i will be able to use these as before pictures! My goal is to weigh 125 lbs. I have a mini goal for this year which is 165lbs
Today went well, I began walking on my treadmill which was actually fun! I wanted to do 30 minutes, but hubby said to stick to 15 min for today. I Was bummed out, i wanted to walk more!

HI Jo, I just wanted to say hello, and welcome you to the forum. I have found everyone here to be so friendly and supportive. Joining this forum has been the best thing for me because when im feeling happy or down, i have someplace to be with people that understand.

Just thought id stop in. I havnt exercised today. I am in a lot of pain from yesterdays workout.Which I am shocked because it was only a 15 minute jog.But i am used to sitting on my butt doing nothing all day except for cleaning and cooking, I also painted my sons room, so that could explain the backache too.
Lets see.. I ate pretty good today, not craving anything.
Morning i had some cottage cheese sprinkled with green onion,slice of bread
lunch i had 2 pieces of bread with a slice of ham , and tiny bit of lite mayo on each slice.
Dinner i had a cup of vegetable salad (cooked carrots,peas, potatoe, cooked egg whites with a bit of mayo) and slice of bread.
I have been bad with water today, i had only one glass, and 2 glasses orange juice.
I have never thought i could have so much energy after working out! I did 35 minutes of jogging this morning before breakfast, still in some pain but not to the point i couldnt get on the treadmill, and make an excuse.
my menu today was pretty good.I am not feeling hungry and drank 3 glasses of water. Still working on that.
Breakfast 10am
Turkey on wheat bread teaspoon mayo. 280 calories
Orange Juice - 110 calories
Early dinner at inlaws 2pm
1/2 cup boiled riced with peas,corn,carrots. 125 calories
small piece of ground pork breaded(not sure what its called)170 calories
2 tablespoons grated beets - 50 calories
1 apple - 75 calories.
oh yes! i still get scared during my weekly weigh ins. i have steadily lost, but i know i am going to be upset when the week comes that i didn't lose, or even worse, gained! it's one of those things that's inevitable, i'm sure!
Wow day 4! this is usually around where i feel like quitting with my other diets, but i am enjoying this one so far..
I didnt use my treadmill this morning. I have that feeling of guilt?? but i didnt have the time, i had my whole house to clean, which took 5 hours.I think i can count that as being my exercise for the morning. I usually mop my floors, but i decided to get on my knees and wash the old fashion way, and burn some more calories that way.
