Hi,
For me,
swimming feels like one of the only things that I can really do. I have a bad back, and the water takes so much pressure off of my back when I exercise. Running never worked for me because it was so high impact, but I would love to have a runner's
body some day! (I admire people who can run.) I hope that once I get some of this weight off I'll be able to try running again, this time more comfortably. But
swimming and the elliptical machine are really the only two things that are low impact enough to do the trick for
cardio for me. But I'm one of those people who are blessed with the flabby-chicken-wing arms, so
swimming should (hopefully) help with that, since it works your upper-
body so much. I hope someday I'll be able to vary my routine a bit more. Good luck to everyone and their exercising!
Toodles,
Beth
