I saw this show on E! the other day, "10 Ways to get Superstar Skinny" and they were talking about how Jack and a bunch of celebrities get colonic treatments to help them lose weight. They said that on his one week training in Taiwan, Jack Osbourne got these colonics twice a day for 7 days and lost 10 lbs.

Does anyone else find this to be absolutely SICK? Maybe I'm missing something, but this seems crazily unhealthy to me. Your thoughts??

i saw the show and was really surprised jack was one of the celebs who regularly got colonics done. and twice a day? that does seem a bit much.

yeah I think twice a day is a bit severe, and doesn't seem that great for the body. Not something I believe mother nature intended at the least!

lol, let me tell ya...i was a nurses aid for 5 yrs in a nursing home. I know first hand how important it is to let your body do what its made to do. People start taking this colanics or laxatives, next thing you know, you can't go to the bathroom w/o it, and you have to wait almost a week to get one from your doctor, can be pretty uncomfortable!!

And this is different from abusing laxatives how?

Jack osborne? Heh, its probably a cocain or meth diet. Its amazing what that stuff can do, seen some aquaintences go from chubby to skinny real fast. Not for me though.

I don't know how long a colonic takes but I sure would not want to lie there twice a day for one. I thought things were Made in Tawain not blasted up your ss. Wouldn't one seem suficient? I could understand him wanting to take care of his colon because of his mom's cancer scare but that seems a but abusive and extreme. Unless he finds it pleasureable.

I did see him in something not to long ago and he really looks good. My hat off to him but I'm thinking he has lost it in an unhealthy way.

ok guys stop trashing him, he really worked hard to lose the weight. no drugs. no "laxitives". he went threw a detox to get sober. not to shit himself. he did this the hard way, no short cuts. so stop acting like he didnt. now if he can do it im sure everyone else can too, just get motivated
