Rep Power: 0 | | | Jun Acai Berry After reading a lot of good (?) information on the internet, I decided to go for the free trial of Jun Acai Berry along with the cleanse. Delivery was guaranteed 3-5 business days, and you had 14 days to cancel your automatic subscription. Well the product comes from England and takes 2 weeks to arrive in Canada. I should have cancelled the subscription when it didn't arrive in the time advertised, but I didn't. Once the product finally arrived, I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately, I gained 7lbs in the 2 weeks I took it, and cancelled my subscription. This was a $550 learning experience. I've purchased acai berry from the drug store in the same strength at a fraction of the cost as well as cleanses from a health store, which had much better results. Yes, I fell for the hype that the Jun acai berry was more potent and a purer form. If you are planning to try this method of weight loss, save your money and purchase locally. Customer service from Jun Acai berry is non existent. This was a very expensive lesson for me to learn and I would like to help prevent someone else from learning it the hard way. PS I lost the extra weight once I stopped taking the pills. There was no satisfaction guaranteed, no refund. Just thanks for your money and don't call us anymore. |

Rep Power: 87 | | | thanks for sharing! sounds like like you learned that most of these kind of deals are nothing more than a scam. I'm sorry! I still have to disagree that you should purchase this item at all! the product itself is a scam. you won't have the results your expecting, if any at all. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Ditto I just listened to a pod cast about weight loss supplements given by a guy who actually works in the supplement industry and he was saying that the whole acai berry deal is bogus.
Too bad, I was rather hopeful on the idea of a super juice myself.
here'e the link to the pod cast if you want to check it out:

Rep Power: 5 | | that sucks that you got involved with an acai scam online. these scams are everywhere. if someone really wants to try acai then buy it from a reputable vitamin shop or natural foods store online, or maybe even one in your local area. whatever you do, don't sign up for free trials or memberships with these companies.
of course, if you really want to play it safe and still try adding some antioxidants to your daily diet just buy a big bag of fresh or frozen blueberries and get munching. they don't have as many antioxidants as acai, but they still have more than most berries. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
