Rep Power: 0 | | | The biggest loser show Hi everybody,
Yesterday i watched the biggest loser, the show... not me (lol), and it was so inspirational.. It reinforced me in my conviction to attein my goal be healthy and watch my diet ..I also wanna say that i find very surprising the weight loss that they obtain ( some 20 lbs and more ...) in only a week.
Anyone's feeling the same about that ?

Rep Power: 17906 | | I figure it's gotta be a combination of the killer workouts and the water weight. The one guy lost 20lbs in one week Crazy.

Rep Power: 0 | | | I've always wondered how many hours a day they make them work out. I'd assume that they keep them on like a 1200 cal/day diet that focuses on CCs and fruits and veggies and protein...but the exercise component keeps me wondering.

Rep Power: 0 | | | If it's anything like the Australian series they give them 3-4hrs of homework (exercise) to do each day. They must fit this in around shooting the show.
With the weight, I know in the Aussie series they water-loaded at the start just to make it more dramatic!

Rep Power: 0 | | | Fan of The Biggest Loser? For those of you that don't know I trained the winner of the Australian series of The Biggest Loser. I've just finished editing some video from our time training up to the final weigh in. Most of it is from a week long training camp I took him on i the Aussie bush.
This guy was initially 137kg (302lb), and lost 52kg (114lb) in 4 months.
I won't post the link here, but if you're interested you can get the link in my Profile.

Rep Power: 0 | | | With losing weight so fast, how does their skin shrink back to normal??? Does lifting weights add muscle, and therefore shrink the skin???

Rep Power: 330270 | | changeforlife, often they hide it with cunning clothes, most skin will contract within 6 months to a year after the loss, but if the skin tissue is damaged (ie stretch marks or the saggy tummy like i have) then it will never go back into shape without surgery.
Eating proper foods and exercising does make it shrink faster and get healthier faster |

Rep Power: 41 | | I think I'm going to have that problem too. *sigh* But when I'm skinny I will be heathy and that's all that matters... or at least that's what I'm told.

Rep Power: 0 | | | I always end up missing the show now b/c other shows that I just can't miss are on.
My DVR doesn't like recording on a consistant basis so I can't use it to record it for me.
Wish NBC would put up the full episodes online!! Would give me something to watch while I'm on my treadmill!
That show is so inspirational though. I wish we could all lose that much in just a week, but you know those ppl are probably working out SOOOO much and having those trainers there too is probably a big help b/c they can help the ppl with their form and keep them pushing themselves to their limit.
