I know this isn’t a forum where we waste our time wondering which celebrities are losing and which are gaining. But I came across this post @ thesuperficial.com and it made me think. Its a picture of Jessica Simpson with the caption reading "Jessica Simpson might be a cow".


Initial reaction: She in no way resembles a cow. But as they said in The Devil wears Prada "In Hollywood; size zero is the new size two, size four is the new size six, and size six is the new size fourteen". But still I don’t see it.

Second reaction: Although she looks a little on the healthy side, I cant help but shake my finger in a "I told you so way". I mean, low carbs, low calories, or even low fat...eventually you’re gonna need to eat real food. And when you do...well, this is what happens.

Any thoughts?

I'm sure if she were standing straight and posing and not tripping over her train, she'd look fine - it's a little difficult to look svelte while you are being clumsy

Of course! Maybe if her dress were the right size, she would look great; And as an added bonus, she'd be able to walk too! hehehe

Notice when they're slamming somebody, they never post a nice pic? They take the most unflattering one they can find.

i dont believe any of those trash mags anymore, they often have 'shes anorexic' or 'shes fat' in 2 opposing magazines on the same week.

Jessica has always been a little thicker then the other popular people but she is just stunningly beautiful either way. Even when she lost all the weight, she was still not bone thin. She looks great. I think that is just a bad picture making her look heavier. She looks her regular size in other pictures (the weight she was before she lost weight). I like this about her though because she is like us, like normal people in that aspect.

Bglitter1979, I agree. Its great that Jessica tries to maintain a healthy weight for her size. Can't really say that for the rest of the "it" girls in hollywood these days.

I agree, she's a nice size. She's human, she gains and looses, and (as we all know) battles acme and uses proactive! Perfectly normal.
