just wondering if anyone's heard or saw Bob on Oprah yesterday. personally, i don't really have a thing for Oprah, but i do seem to have a thing for trainers named Bob...ha! anyway - any thoughts anyone?

this trainer has been with her for a while - he had a diet book out years ago - who's name escapes me - that I honestly don't recall anything in his first book that was worth remembering...

oprah's last diet du jour book - the you on a diet book - was a good read - this current diet du jour - i'm not so sure abouot

Well in-between chasing my son around, I saw bits and pieces of the show. To me it seemed as if he was just re-iterating common diet information. IE: cut out all soda and lose 10 to 20 lbs in a year. If you drink regular milk switch to soy...yadi yadi ya. And of course plugging his new book and online weight loss support group.

Try going to Oprah's website, they usually upload most of the show for anyone who missed it or wants to see it again.

Yeah, I agree. I did not hear any new information from that book. It is just a difference of whether you let someone else structure and design a plan for you, or you do it for yourself. The premise is still the same - limiting calories, eating healthier foods and exercising.

I think he's passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and I wish I could afford to have him as my personal trainer. He'd be nice to have around for motivation, but his diet tips are pretty straightforward - nothing I don't already know.
