Rep Power: 0 | | hey! Sorry I have had a craaaaaaaazy schedule this week! I have been getting home rather late.
Yeah, I didn't plan that visit very well. I just booked a day with the trainer before lookng to see what was "on the menu" for the day. It just so happened to land on the all veggie day. BUT I loaded up on them and was never hungry, except for the 4 hour block when I was out and the busiest. That's when I cheated. But still it was only 519 calories...it was only like 300 before I cheated.
BUT..just remember...every day is not like that...only this one. I had plenty of energy for the trainer though. Today's menu had much more calories (thank God.)
Good results with YOU though...even a 1/2 pound is something. You are just so close, your body is leveling out. I think it's easier for me to lose weight because I have so much fat that my body isn't used to dealing with. I'm considerably heavier than where I naturally rest so my body is only happy to accomodate the loss if I eat propoerly and am active. Once I get down to my last 15 pounds though I KNOW I'll be cursing my scale like you are. It's those last few that are the buggers!! |

Thanks for the encouragement I lost another half pound today so thats extremely exciting. Slowly, but surely, finally.
I remembered yesterday whenI was reading your post that you are 5'9"- WOMAN YOU CANNOT DROP DOWN TO 130- You would look close to emaciated. I hate to be the one to tell you what is 'right for you', but really, do you want to look like a stick or look muscular and healthy? I know you mentioned that you were that small before but thats beyond skinny- I couldnt even imagine myself at 130 and i'm too inches shorter than you. I'm not trying to tell you what is right for you but please never get down to that weight- for your twin's sanity? haha. Anyway, sorry I just get worried really easily!
I didnt really sleep last night- too much on my mind! My two shows were on [the only tv shows i watch- ugly betty and greys anatomy] so i was up until 10 and then wide awake. I hate that! So I'm a bit drowsy today, needlesstosay. I have loads to do tonight, especially with regard to my guitar as i won't have time to practice much before my lesson on MOnday and my skills are less than impressive! Bartending tomorrow night- i hope the nice weather brings me loads of customers; generous ones at that! Happy Friday twin!! x |

Rep Power: 0 | | Thanks Becka!! But 130 is just where my body naturally rests. That's where I feel most comfortable too so that's my goal. it's the weight I was for most of my life, except for when I was 14-22 when I weighed 110-115.
Congrats on that stubborn pound!!! woo hoo!!!! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi. all of this sounds so interesting. I found this site while looking for reviews on the fat loss 4 idiots. Could you share the list they give? Though I would not say I am picky I do not eat meat so many diets do not work for me if they have restrictions. ( I do eat eggs and fish). I was hoping to see more of a sample or if they had a guarentee? also on the fast, do you have the specifics or was it what you already said and just drink that? I went out today and got the lemons but they only had grade a syrup, I then realized I had a bunch of veggies so will do a raw diet this week and then do the fast. Any other advise would be helpful! On the fast did you have enough energy to work out? I have all the knowledge but still try to look for a quick fix! I feel if I can just lose 10 then I will eat better. I really need a kick start and the fast sounds like one, though worry about messing up my metabolism - which I think is already messed up and wicked slow! |

The fast was great. I had PLENTY of energy while on it..infct, more than I ususally do on a daily basis. I worked out no trouble..just drink your lemonade right afterwards. I got my maple syrup at Trader Joe's...but they also sell it at health food stores. Grade A won't work AT ALL...if you can't find Grade C...Grade B will be OK. You need the minerals in it to sustain you. Grade A is more or less just a sweetener and you will starve. It doesn't have the nutritional value you need. Use the fast to cleanse and to regulate your stomach and prime yourself for a better diet. The weight loss is a perk...but don't let that be your focus. You might gain it back and that will be disappointing. it's an amazing thing to do though...you need some serious will power I tell ya..that first 3 days all you want to do is eat eat eat. If you can get past that...you'll be allright.
The fast recommends 60oz of the lemonade a day. I had a case of 24oz bottles of water fro Trader Joe's and made lemonade in them. I made sure to drink 3 bottles a day..and sometimes drank straight water in between. I made all 3 up in advance (using the recipe for 2 1/2 glasses, each glass being 10oz) in the morning and carried all 3 with me and drank when I wanted instead of downing a whole glass. That worked well for me.
The Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet has a vegetarian option that looked very nice...but I am a meat eater so I opted not for that.
Now..I only lost 5 of the promised 9 pounds in the 11 days..but then as you'll notice by my accounts, I did not follow it correctly....still...5 pounds is nothing to shake a stick at!!! I was never hungry, in fact I could never finish the food they suggested I eat. I never had cravings. Every day was a combination of all the things I normally crave. There were even deserts. The only thing lacking was bread and pasta...but anyone can go without those for 11 days.
I will send you a sample menu to your private messages and you can try it if you want. See if it works for you. Good luck and welcome!!! |

My apologies for being MIA- Read my thread and you'll see about the weekend. Today was shit and I'm having a hard time emotionally *sigh*. It will all blow over, I'm sure- but I'm immersed in a contradictive puddle of guilt, remorse, resentment and anger- not so fun! Hope you had a fab weekend xo |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Thanks for the help with the "diet". I need something written out like that. I have 2 kiddos (almost 2 and 1) so I tend to snack with whatever they are eating and crackers can add up! I have only been doing it for 3 days and determined to stick to it over the weekend, even though we are going away for our anniversary (wedding - been there, done that! 3 years ago on May 1 at the Grand Canyon). So even with hiking, etc this weekend I do hope to keep with it. I just wonder what I can do for a 5th meal! eating every 2.5 hours leaves 14 hours on non-eating time, even if I sleep for 8 it leaves 6 hours. Do you find this hard? on my fruit day, I did tend to graze on fruit instead of eating for 4 meals. Hope all is well and thanks again for the info. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hey Lola Importnat question Hi Lola,
I guess it's a dumb question. Is the diet you're using the same one I read about in this review: Fat Loss 4 Idiots - Product Review on Squidoo?
Does it really work so well? |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi!! Yes, that's the same one! I lost 6lbs not 9lbs...but as you can see by my very detailed notes throughout..I kinda cheated. Still, 6lbs.....11days!
More physical activity and a stricter following of the diet would get better results.
All and all I recommend this diet!! |
