Its not YOUR grammar I was talking about. Its the grammar on the website of the manufacturer of that supplement you keep talking about. Seems very fly by night.

Jane1975 -- I would recommend Meridia, but you can only get it through prescription. It's an expensive pill if your insurance doesn't cover it (mine does) and you will need to get regular check ups and blood work.

The thing about Meridia is that it's not about to make you lose weight without effort. You need to also get control over your food intake and exercise.

But if your doctor thinks you need it, then I think it's recommendable.

Caralluma

Anybody every try caralluma? I heard about it in a book I read "Dr. Perricone's 7 longevity secrets" & tried it. It said on the bottle to take 1 an hour befor meals but I did not get any effect so i upped it to 2 and definitely worked for me.

Also got the lipo injections from Healing light holistic center in Miami and started them last week. I weight in last Monday at 201 and this Monday at 198 so something's working.

Luck
Sandy

I want to go on the record and ask the moderators to stop more post being made to this thread if possible. Getting any useful information from this thread means sifting through a bunch of shit. If someone wants to ask about a specific pill, they could start a new thread or post an existing thread about that pill.

Thankfully this site doesn't moderate (read=censor) the posts unless they are spam. If you dont find something useful in a thread as you're reading it, then I recommend just moving on to the next thread. In fact, that's precisely what I love about this site and the reason I left another forum.

Try a natural green tea capsule, they boost you metabolism and give you more energy hence doing more you shouldnt really be looking at hard core pill with such a miniscule amount of weight to be lost. worth a try eh? they dont cost a fortune either

WOW people...I think after reading the majority of this forum...there is no good pill....I'm not looking for a magic pill...I work out 1-1.5 hours 4-5 times a week and watch my food intake..I've lost 25 lbs since January...I am simply looking for a pill that might help the craving, and help increase the rate at which I'm looooosing...If anyone knows of anything, don't want the gitters...can't afford to act like I'm on some crazy ephedra pill...blah blah...just want something that may help boost this process a bit...anyway...I really enjoy this forum..but please only contact me if you really have used a product you like...and are not affiliated with some company selling scam....is that too much to ask? lol Thanks!!!!

Weight loss Pills?

The fact is that most slimming pills - whether it is bought over the counter or doctor prescribed have side effects because of the ingredients used.

Phaseolamin - nausea, vomitting, diarrhoea, stomach pains, hypoglycaemia in diabetic patients

Beta-sitosterol - indigestion, gas, diarrhoea or constipation

Cascara - mild laxative effect, mild abdominal discomfort, colic, cramps

So exercise extreme caution when taking slimming pills. Best to consult your doctor before taking them.

I think pills are not benefical for health. If you want good health. Then you should do regular exercise.Pills can decrease your weight but not for permanetly. So I think you should do exercise. I have link also you can use tips.

Sorry to disagree but many pill formulas do work. Slim30, which I mentioned before, for example, curbs your appetite and makes you eat less and thereby lose weight. While other herbal formulas increase rate of metabolism (These are the ones that are a hit or miss some times). Certain laxatives also help keeping your digestive tracks clean and so the food (carbs) pass through your body quickly without being converted and stored in your body.

Question Try something natural?

I think it's good to worry about using drugs for weight loss. But what about natural supplements? Has anyone tried any natural supplements for weight loss? I found one called Xcellerator that has hoodia in it for appetite suppressant and also says it burns calories by boosting metabolism and increasing oxygenation. It is a natural supplement and not a drug. I've tried a sample of it and loved the energy I felt, but has anyone tried it for weight loss? Of course, I know the most natural way to lose weight is with exercise and diet, but a little natural boost would be nice too.

I see some diet pills as an added benefit to help me stay within my comfortable weight range. As long as you stick to the more natural herbs and take them as recommended, they should be okay.

Remember not to combine them with additional stimulants and everything should be okay. It's when people take these pills in abundance that problems arise. It they help, I say, take them. Having tons of extra weight to carry around is more dangerous than anything you can do to your body.
