The biggest thing is to not revert back to your old diet. Once you lose the weight, you don't want to gain it back. 4000 calories is a lot for the average person.
Make sure you eat a balanced diet too. Don't just concentrate on carbs or protein or something specific. Assuming that you have that down, then some weight lifting will help you gain muscle. Muscle will help you burn fat, as JeremyRice mentioned.
Cardio is always good. It's good for your heart and keeping you healthy.
I've never really been a big fan of situps. I think crunches are better for you, and target your abs better. Do more crunches, do some pushups, and go walking or running outdoors. I personally think you have to be on a treadmill longer to get the same effect as if you were to do the spend the same amount of time outside.
Have some fun too. Get outside with some friends and play a sport. It will work more muscles than you think.
wow, congrats on taking the initiative! I just wanted to add: take it slow, don't torture yourself trying to get thin in a hurry. There's plenty of time.
are there bone density issues with young people lifting weights, btw? I guess that only applies in extreme cases. anyways, listen to your body, keep an open mind to new healthy foods that you might've previously disliked, and good luck!

Thanx guys for your support. I really made me mad today, my mom bought me mcdonalds, I ate a bacon and egg bagel and a sasuage, I thought "okay, this will only be about 500 cal, it turns out it was like 650!"
In this case what do you do to loose all of those caleries?? Im thinking Im not going to have dinner tonight, Ill have lunch and maybe an apple around 7 pm, what do you think?

Don't skip meals. If you want to burn extra calories, exercise for a little bit longer. What's done is done, don't try and make up for it by eating less in the form of skipping a meal.
yeah, you want your metabolism running and burning calories, not slowing down because you're skipping meals! Also, an extra 150 calories on one day is not the end of the world. I'd be more worried about the fact that that mcdonalds meal probably wasn't very nutritious- though you did have an egg, that's protein right there, can't be that bad.
you have to eat to lose weight... just make sure you're eating healthy foods. and McDonald's is fine... but very rarely. you obviously can't deprieve yourself, but just be careful.
already mentioned but running burns a lot of calories. any cardio will... workout tapes, dance, etc.
I don't agree that its harmful to skip a meal or that your metabolism slows down from one skipped meal. Its more from an extended period of eating severely below your daily calorie needs. Actually I think skipping meals could be used as a good way to lose or maintain weight. If you overeat one meal or even for a whole day, you're more full later on so you might not need that meal. I feel total overall calories for the whole day is what counts (though sometimes people get overly hungry from skipping a meal and then binge later, which we dont want to happen either).
I also question whether you would be able to maintain 155 at 5'5" and actually be normally eating 4000 calories a day. It seems like you wouldve ended up a lot larger, but then again you're very young and growing so what do I really know. It just raised a little flag that didn't quite sound right (and I could easily be wrong as I'm no expert on this).
Its impossible to help you when you list your meals as "a good meal for bfast", "a good meal for lunch". That tells us very little.
Punching exercises with 20 lbs doesn't sound so great either. I would do compound exercises that work your large muscle groups to burn calories. Like squats, lunges (with or without the dumbbells) and chest and back exercises if you have access to equipment.
Also, try interval training like walking, then jogging, then slow walking for 1 to 5 minutes, then sprinting as fast as you possibly can for 20 seconds, then slow walking again, more sprinting for 20 seconds (that's the part that really gets your metabolism going), then slow walking, then end it with more jogging or fast walking.
I feel with your stats that you're not going to lose 10 or more lbs per month unless you starve yourself, which has really bad effects on your metabolism and body and is not recommended. Slow down. Smell the roses. Enjoy life chubby or not, and soon enough you'll be where you want to be. Slow and steady wins the race (and lots of patience).
Two things you're doing right are that you're trying to learn how to count calories and learn how many calories actually are in what you're eating (and some of it is very surprising as you saw), and also that you're not trying to starve yourself to get the weight off quickly. Its not worth slowing your metabolism down that way.
