Well, I just found out that my friend had ordered the entire package a few yrs ago and never used it!!! She told me I could borrow it no problem. I'm so excited to have a look at it and to try and figure it all out. I figured out from the website that I have bodyt type "B."
Thanks for your help,

I started this yesterday. I don't really go by pounds lost when looking for success. I don't care what I weigh as long as I feel good about how I look. And also, I weighed and in a matter of 36 hours the scale had said I lost 10 lbs, which is water weight obviously.
Anyone who has used this program, can you let me know dress sizes you dropped? Or inches?

Hi! So I started this in the summer of '07 (got derailed by school and aquiring a boyfriend who eats too much fast food), and here's what I experienced in my 3 weeks of being good and on plan before I succumbed to Del Taco and being lazy.
First off, I lost 15 lbs and dropped one pant size (from a 16 to a 14) in the three weeks. The first week was tough, what with the lack of salt, eating so often (I'm used to eating 1-2 times a day, and never cooking), and drinking water. After I got used to that, and cooking a weeks worth of food at a time, it was pretty easy. Basically you just eat different proportions of protein/fruit/veggies/carbs per meal. I lost the 15 lbs without doing the 18 minute resistance routine, and by walking for an hour only like 2 times per week. What really ended up derailing me is the prep, but if you can work it out and devote 2 hours on a Sunday to cooking for the rest of the week, and can handle making more protein/carbs/whatever on a Wednesday if you need to, then if you're determined you should do fine. Another awesome thing is that they have a very cool forum where you can exchange recipes and whatnot, and the people in the commercials are still members posting on the site (I've talked to a few of them, even), and people there tend to be pretty cool.
I'm such a fan of the program that I'm starting it again on the 19th for what I hope is the last time.
As for it being a long term sustaining program, they have a subsection of it called "Living Lean" where you still eat frequently and everything, but you can add in salts and sugars and refined carbs in moderation. From what I've seen, it's very much a "what ever works for you" part, as some people can have a cupcake a day and maintain, and other can eat too big of a banana and gain. The kit also comes with a restaurant guide, so you can make more educated choices in terms of ordering out, and the forums have a feeling very much like getting back on the horse if you went crazy at a family barbeque.
Anywho. I'll be starting again soon, and good luck to those already on the plan!

I just love this program. The first week I used it I lost 10 lbs, then I kept losing steadily. I went off it due to some work stress and only gained a few pounds back. When I restarted again I lost 9.5 lbs in the first week. I was a size 20 (australian) when I started, I am now a size 16 and I will be a 14 in the next few weeks.
I have lost all my belly fat, I finally sleep well after years of insomnia, the carb and sweets craving are gone and I feel really well. My doctor is thrilled with my improved results.
I have finally found the right way to eat for me. After years of yo yo dieting and constant carb cravings I don't really think about food much at al now.
I eat fresh, simple foods and it works for me!

I'd be happy to "rent" the material I need from you or anyone else.. I did the program several years ago and, later, gave away my material. Due to problems beyond my control, I gained some weight and would like to do the program again. Type B. I wish someone in my area would come up with a program to "rent". It was interesting to read your thoughts on the exercises. I wondered if they would be helpful in shaping up. I didn't do them last time. Greeneyes21.

I did not buy the program, my inlaws did. I just simply wrote down the appropriate meals for a type a, and the list of acceptable foods. And did it on my own without the book. I started on Monday. I have lost 4 lbs since then. It's pretty easy. The only hard part is cooking and prepping the food to take to work.
If you need help, or want to see my meal list, PM me.
