Jogging before or after meals doesn't really affect the number of
calories burnt. As long as you go for the same distance/speed/time, then you burn the same number of
calories.
I prefer to jog before meals, for other reasons:
1. It takes me a while to digest food, and I don't like jogging with food in my stomach.
2. I'm training for a long-distance race, and jogging "on empty" trains my
body to cope when I'm low on fuel.
But you might find you have more
energy to run after eating. If that means you can go faster and for longer, thus burning more
calories, then you should totally do it that way instead.
Good luck!
