Guess I'll see

It is nice to know I am not the only one who came to this forum seeking knowledge if ANYONE HAS TRIED FENPHEDRA. But I am disappointed. I appreciate the comments, suggestions, and of course the warnings. BUT I was hoping to read comments from someone who actually tried the pill. I am currently using the ALLI product in conjunction w/my regular exercise program. Where I was losing a pound or two a week with the pill I have lost seven to ten a week. BUT the side effect (trying to find the delicate way to put it) of bathroom visits is managable IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE PUTTING INTO YOUR MOUTH. And for me that has been the bigger benefit of using th ALLI. Before I decided to use the ALLI I did my research, as I am w/Fenphedra. There was lots of negative comments and off handed remarks about the product. For every positive statement I could find equal number of negative comments. What sold me was a real live person who used the product share their thoughts and comments. So... to all who are thinking of using Fenphedra... I have ordered the product and will be sharing my personal experience with this product. Guess stay tuned if you wanna know.

Fenphedra

I just recently purchased some. I am 45 and going through menopause. I have progressively been gaining weight for the past 4 years. I diet, exercise and continue to gain weight. I am now up to 230 and can't take anymore. I have tried every natural metabolism booster and nothing works. So I am off and running tomorrow with Fenphedra. I will continue to exercise and eat well and feel if this does not work, than maybe I have some kind of disease... Is there anyone going through meno and can't get any weight off???? I am desperate for advice.... I cannot stand being so FAT!!

The original formula has been taken off the market however. They have an SF formula which I dont want to waste my money on trying. I was not "significantly overweight" as they recommended I should be to use their product. I was 170 and within 60 days I was back down to 140. I stopped taking th e pill and I kept the weight off for 3 years, then I had a baby, gained 40 pounds, lost 20, got pregnant, had a miscarriage, got pregnant again, gained 60 pounds, had a c-section and here I am back at 170. I'm done having kids and would kill to have my pre-baby body back and a bottle of that original Anorex. Whatever was in it worked for me, I didnt have a heart attack or die and I am in perfect health right now except for the current extra baggage.
In my quest I did find this anortix sounds like what you took before I have no idea if it works.

Has your doctor tested your thyroid?
Talked you aboutany kind of Hormone Replacement Therapy?

What did he/she say when you were given the scrip for the pill?

Week one is down and I have lost 13 lbs - I contribute a significant part of the loss to the FEN-72 (Detox) that accompanied the FENPHEDRA. It did it's job. I only took the FEN-72 for three days (needed to be able to work outside of the restroom). I did notice the first few days a really big boost to my energy level. Not jitters or anxiety - but just a good feeling. Yes, it could have been self-induced as a way for me to get in the mood for this adventure - but even today I can say the feeling is still there... just not as noticable because I become accustom to the product. To clarify, I am taking the FENPHEDRA 2x a day 1 pill @breakfast w/16oz water and 1 pill @lunch w/16oz water. I do walk daily and am watching my calorie intake.

So in 3 weeks time you have gone from Alli to Fenphedra?
Yet both worked for you.......why the switch???
You do of course realize that 13 lbs in one week is nowhere near healthy regardless of what you will say in response to this post.
But you knew that already right? The box told you this I am sure.....

Fentraphen is similar, but didn't work for me

I appreciate your feedback on Fenphedra, Deniseisme. I was having trouble finding any testimonials on the product, beside what is on their website. I did quite a bit of research and found a lot of good recommendations for Fentraphen, as opposed to Fenphedra. It has similar ingredients and claims, and was slightly less expensive, so I tried it. All I can say is, it's a good thing it has a 60-day money back guarantee, because I will be getting my money back. After following the instructions and taking 1 pill an hour before each meal, I lost 0 pounds. My appetite actually increased and I felt no boost in energy or motivation. I never experienced the "euphoric" feeling it claimed to give either. Fenphedra may be different, but it sounds like the detox treatment that comes with it is the real key to kicking off the weight loss. After finishing the Fentraphen, through a lot of prayer and meditation, I've worked up my own energy and motivation to eat healthier, smaller portions and workout. This newfound motivation started less than a week ago and I've already lost 2 pounds. I pray I can keep it up, lose the rest of the 28 pounds and reach my goal by August! But please continue to keep us updated on your journey with Fenphedra, Deniseisme. I am interested to see how it works and if it still is something I would like to try.

yes I've tried it

Hi, I'm replying to this post to be helpful, not to be bashed, lol! I gained about 20 pounds and I'm so miserable. I'm 5'6 and weigh 140lbs. My job is manual labour and after working 10 hours a day I was beat and would fall asleep on the couch, wake up and buy take out. After about a year of this I've had enough. No I don't agree with "diet" you should always eat healthy not to lose weight but to live a long happy life, and excercise is awesome for your heart, and believe it or not great energy! I stopped working out because I was so very tired so I wanted something for a boost of energy, and a coffee was not doing the trick. I bought this item on ebay and recieved it last Friday. I started using it on Monday, I took 1 pill and it made everything seem to be in slow motion and when I was moving around doing my job I did notice increased heart rate. I really didn't like the feeling of the product I thought I was going to die. But yes i still took it again. I've only had the courage to take 1 a day, but the feeling doesn't seem as drastic because I guess I'm used to it. I did notice that it reduces my appetite and that when I do eat that I'm full faster. Also I have the energy to work out again. This is my first week on it, I didn't weigh myself but I feel better. Hope I could help.

I'm currently taking Hydroxicut. Basically, what it is doing for me is cutting my appetite and providing energy. The thing is, you can't lean solely on pills. You have to do your part. Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted on how well it's working out for me.

I'm a firm believer in diet pills, and i also realize that in order to loose weight and maintain that weight you have to make the lifestyle change and exercise and all that. When i had my first baby I gained 70 pounds and on my 5' tall frame thats a lot of extra weight to be carting around. I carried it for about a year before i switched to low fat and low calorie foods and started going to aerobics class twice a week. I dropped all the weight that i had gained plus a few more pounds. I didn't do it by myself though. I took phen-phen and after they took it off the market I took various other diet pills to take the edge off. I kept all my weight off for 7 years until I got pregnant again, I didn't loose any of that baby weight then i had another baby and gained even more, now i have myself in the position where i need to loose 50 or 60 lbs. Which I will, but i will do it with the help of phentermine which i started on Monday. In my experience its way easier to maintain weight than to loose it, and if there is a product available to help me through the process then by all means let me have it. I also have tried about every crackpot diet know to man..from cabbage soup to detoxification to adkins and some that I don't even remember until someone mentions them. The only one that worked for me was the low fat, but I still think its good to try other things. For instance after i had done the low fat for a while changing off the the adkins allowed me to have foods that I hadn't been able to eat in forever, like slim jims, and eggs, and bacon. Then when I got tired of eating that stuff, i switched back to low fat. Dieting can be monotonous and switching programs can be a good exciting way to break that monotony. I also had a lot of support, my two best friends were dieting with me and we would have monthly "cheat days" and would go out and eat somewhere really good.

From all you've just said though - you've been unable to maintain your weight - you keep yo-yoing -- that's not maintaining..

Instead of diets and pills -why not go for a lifestyle change that would allow you to eat really good foods...

I think 7 years could be considered maintaining..my problem comes along when i get pregnant..but since i won't be doing that anymore once i get it off this time i should be okay to keep it off. <crosses fingers>

Not So Bad

Naturally like everything else the weight loss world is divided into 2 kinds of people, the professionals, and those who just like to think they know it all, and then there the very few and far between strays that are simply curious as to gaining knowledge.Nothing proves that better than a forum. As far as a whole thread goes this was based off a simple question for a woman curious to a drugs effects. And to answer no I havent tried fenphedra but I have taken an identical drug boasting the same results with a euphoric high known as ephedrasil and its "hardcore" version. All people are different, thus results may very. I personally am not morbidly obese and most of these drugs are not designed to cure such disceases. I do come from a long line of obese women in my family, I actually being the only one to have not have gone through such a battle, but naturally get on the defense when gaining those 10-15 holiday lbs. As far as the pills goes, yes I did lose the weight. I actually went from my normal 118 to 103 lbs in 3 weeks. And as far as energy goes I need as much as I can get, I work in a very fast paced grooming salon, which requires that lovely bouncing bubbly energy the entire 60 hours im there a week. And beings its a high end downtown salon, Looking and feeling my best is a standard i am not willing to sacrifice. I have never been prone to caffiene sickness or jitters from any diet pill as I guess I just have a natural tolerance. So no the pill didn't come with any vomiting, nervous disorders, heart attacks or any such things. But I can not say how it will effect you personally. And as far as the "natural high" well I did my fair share of hell raising in my early high school years and I cant say that the ingrediants are anything like its more potent cousins. I personally think its like drinking a few Sparks energy beers. Not drunk but that social buzz you get after laying a few back, but not the staggering tiredness you get from normal drinking due to large amount of caffiene, guana, taurine in the product. So yes I feel the high is like being an energetic drunk, lol. This will not impare your ability to operate vechicles or concentrate or anything like that as it is not a depressant. And like I said the loads of other stimulants keeps you well awake and on the ball. It does have a very powerful appetite suppresant as I had to sometimes remind myself to eat. Is it healthy, no probably not, but does it work, based on my experience yes. The 1st few lbs you will lose is nothing more than retained water and from there due to the metabolism over drive your system is in and the lack of food your giving it to digest your body is basically eating itself. This is not something to take if you want to shed more than a few vanity lbs for the swim suit season. I personally stopped taking it after a couple months as it can be addictive. I personally went through mild withdrawls, I was pretty lethargic, mopey, restless, and pretty moody. So its like having major pms for about a week or so. I hope this gave you some insight as to your question, if you have any others do feel free to ask.

I am a 42 year old male who after a severe injury gained about 40 pounds. 10 years later I still was dragging that same load around. I am currently on my third month supply of Fenphedra and It is working for me. I have lost 25 pounds and am within 15 pounds of my goal. I have been exercising the same as prior to the supplement so I can say without question the stuff works. What it has changed is how much I eat and when I eat. If you are going to try this stuff I do have a few helpful hints.
1. Drink lots and lots of water. 16-24 oz. everytime you take one and twice that during the day between. If you don't you will be sorry at the days end. For me it will cause big time leg cramps.
2. don't exceed the dose recommend, it won't help.
3. Don't take to late in the afternoon or you won't sleep to good.
4. If you are sensitive to stimulatants then you may want to think about it. It gives you lots of energy so you need to stay active!!!
5. Keep taking or start taking your Vitamins. I take mine at night. This stuff will strip your system if you don't replenish.
6. Try to eat early evening rather then late. If you have to snack late, try and keep it under 100 cals.
7. Don't starve yourself. Eat. Just eat smart. Your body will need the food. I found that now I can get by with much smaller portions and less snacking.
1 to 2 days a week I don't take it or just take it in the AM. I find it has trained me to eat less and to stretch out the meals/snacks. But it do notice an increase in appetite when I don't take it.

Hope this helps. I'm not saying this will work for everyone but it has posted results for me. It would still be a good idea to consult your Dr. if you have any real concerns.
