Rep Power: 0 | | | Fenphedra I am new today and I have read this thread with interest. I found the site by searching for info on Fenphedra - for the same reasons the rest of you have cited. I just took my first dose this am and will wait and see. However I wanted to say thank you to Dpconstruct - your comments are VERY helpful. I had surgery 6 months ago and have gained 15 lbs since. I am entering menopause and am flustered by the increased appetite, weight gain, lethargy and mental fatigue. I am already using some natural hormone boosters as prescribed by my Dr. but with no positive effects. I have tried to increase my exercise and decrease my consumption, but again, with no effect. I am not one to normally resort to supplements but after several recommendations by others, I am cautiously giving Fenphedra a try. I will keep you posted. My weight loss goal is small - just getting rid of those pesky 15 lbs - but my frame is petite and I have increased by 2 dress sizes - severely limiting my wardrobe and I simply refuse to buy new clothes!
One final question - for those of you who post your weightloss on a graph at the end of your post - how do you do that? That would be pretty motivating for me. Thanks to all... |

When i had my first baby I gained 70 pounds and on my 5' tall frame thats a lot of extra weight to be carting around. I carried it for about a year before i switched to low fat and low calorie foods and started going to aerobics class twice a week. I dropped all the weight that i had gained plus a few more pounds. I didn't do it by myself though. I took phen-phen and after they took it off the market I took various other diet pills to take the edge off. I kept all my weight off for 7 years until I got pregnant again, I didn't loose any of that baby weight then i had another baby and gained even more, now i have myself in the position where i need to loose 50 or 60 lbs. Which I will, but i will do it with the help of phentermine which i started on Monday. In my experience its way easier to maintain weight than to loose it, and if there is a product available to help me through the process then by all means let me have it. I also have tried about every crackpot diet know to man..from cabbage soup to detoxification to adkins and some that I don't even remember until someone mentions them. The only one that worked for me was the low fat, but I still think its good to try other things. For instance after i had done the low fat for a while changing off the the adkins allowed me to have foods that I hadn't been able to eat in forever, like slim jims, and eggs, and bacon. Then when I got tired of eating that stuff, i switched back to low fat. Dieting can be monotonous and switching programs can be a good exciting way to break that monotony. I also had a lot of support, my two best friends were dieting with me and we would have monthly "cheat days" and would go out and eat somewhere really good. | I'm the same way.... I've gained weight during/after pregnancy. I'm really wanting to lose weight again. I had my second baby last Sept. I've taken Phentermine 3-4 times in the past with AWESOME results. Along with diet and excersize. Now it's so dang hard to find... and more expensive too.
Where are you getting yours if you don't mind me asking bevp? Thanks |

I am currently on my third month supply of Fenphedra and It is working for me. I have lost 25 pounds and am within 15 pounds of my goal. I have been exercising the same as prior to the supplement so I can say without question the stuff works. What it has changed is how much I eat and when I eat. If you are going to try this stuff I do have a few helpful hints.
1. Drink lots and lots of water. 16-24 oz. everytime you take one and twice that during the day between. If you don't you will be sorry at the days end. For me it will cause big time leg cramps.
2. don't exceed the dose recommend, it won't help.
3. Don't take to late in the afternoon or you won't sleep to good.
4. If you are sensitive to stimulatants then you may want to think about it. It gives you lots of energy so you need to stay active!!!
5. Keep taking or start taking your Vitamins. I take mine at night. This stuff will strip your system if you don't replenish.
6. Try to eat early evening rather then late. If you have to snack late, try and keep it under 100 cals.
7. Don't starve yourself. Eat. Just eat smart. Your body will need the food. I found that now I can get by with much smaller portions and less snacking.
1 to 2 days a week I don't take it or just take it in the AM. I find it has trained me to eat less and to stretch out the meals/snacks. But it do notice an increase in appetite when I don't take it.
Hope this helps. I'm not saying this will work for everyone but it has posted results for me. It would still be a good idea to consult your Dr. if you have any real concerns.
DP | I just found some very funny irony in what this user posted.
Let me analyze for a second here.
You were 40 pounds overweight for 10 years. You were exercising and were not losing weight.
Suddenly, you started taking fenphedra AND you changed how much and how often you eat... and you started losing weight.
Am I the only person who finds it strange that he/she gives all the credit to the pill...and not something as significant as CHANGING YOUR DIET COMPLETELY?
I bet, if you continued to exercise and eat with your new healthy diet, and only eliminated the pill... you would continue losing weight at approximately the same rate. Diet and food combined with exercise is more powerful than a pill will ever be...period. |

Sincerely,
Matt

Rep Power: 0 | | Results.... Okay, so I gave it a chance....
Pros: More energy, able to tolerate the sunlight (that's where I exercise)
motivational, less of an appetite, did not develop a dependency for it.
Did lose weight. Main goal for me though was and is to tone up and have energy for my work-out.
Cons: Shortness of breath, did have to piss quite a but more..(but that may be due the amount of water I drink.) too expensive,
Would I recommend them: Yes, but don't expect the weight to fall off on its own. Diet, exercise, (yes, I did this before I tried the pills but did feel they helped me to stay focused and I really got a true work-out outside w/a burst of energy..which is what I wanted....

Rep Power: 79 | | | i kinda think it funny how everyone says the dont have 'time' to do it.
Or better yet, 'i eat perfectly healthy foods and in healthy portions but still gain weight!'
Im a mother of 4 children, i work fulltime plus contracting part time. I still managed to find time to do an hour of exercise every day (even if it meant 1 hour less sleep a day and 5am mornings). You just dont get busier than me.
As for the portions, they are so screwed up that what people THINK are normal portion sizes are in fact not. Media and Fast food chains have distorted our reality of what is a normal portion size.
Whats funnier is that i used to use all these excuses, amoung others! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I have just started taking Fenfedra and according to the scales have lost 6lbs in 5 days.
Why did I decide to use a weight loss pill? I am limited in what excercise I can do having had spine surgery 15 years ago, I also have Plantar Faciticis (fallen arches) and am early menopausal. My Doctor will not give me hormone therapy for at least another 6 months as my levels do not show enough change though my body disputes this heavily.
Over the last 18 months I have gained around 36lbs in weight. I eat very small portions by UK standards let alone US ones, do not eat crisps, cake or sweets. I have a main meal mid day and cerial or a snack early evening. At weekends I fit in around 10 miles of walking. My job is very active for 9 months of the year.
I was so tired and depressed with the weight gain, the final straw was coming back from an active holiday having been really careful not to over eat and to eat plenty of veg and salad to find I had gained a further 10 lbs. It would appear my metabolism is just not kicking in. I did a fair amount of research before choosing this pill and am hoping it will boost my metabolism and help me work off some of this fat. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Fenphedra didn't work for me I first posted in late May - saying that I was going to give Fenfedra a try. I did - for 2 months and all it did was to make me sick, have a constant headache and feel really, really grumpy. I finally threw the pills away. However, I DID find something that is working very well for me. In early July I happened upon a short clip on You Tube posted by a woman who helps people change their eating patterns. I watched it - went to her website, read her materials and have lost more weight in the past two weeks than I have all year. I don't know if her information will help anyone else - but I found it really useful and it didn't cost me anything.
I am not allowed to post URLs - but her site is called 'thinwithin' - you can find it.
I'm going to keep going, using her advice until I reach my goal.
Keep it up my friends - the key is finding what works for YOU. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I have ordered and am now taking fenphedra I ordered Fenphedra and starting taking it yesterday. My first day was weird. I was really shaky and jittery and it didnt make me feel too well, also it made me actually feel hungier than usual. I was kinda mad about it and I wasnt sure if I wanted to continue taking it or not.. I didnt feel like it was working.
I decided to try it out for one more day, since I did spend a lot of money on the pills and I didnt want that money to go to waste if it didnt have to. Today is my second day taking the pill. I'm not jittery at all and I'm not hungry either. I find myself going to that bathroom a lot more though, which isnt too bad because at least I feel like its actually starting to work now. I guess maybe my body just had to get used to it or something.. plus I didnt get a lot of sleep the night before yesterday and that could have been why too. But I do feel like its working now. I ordered the Fen-72 detox pills as well. I'm not taking them yet though, because I figured if the Fenphedra itself makes me go to the bathroom a lot, then while taking the Fen-72 I'd REALLY be going to the bathroom a lot.. and since I'm at work I didnt feel like I wanted to go through that lol. But I plan on starting the Fen-72 on Saturday while I'm home. But so far so good, I do feel like they are working and I do feel that maybe I can lose some weight on these pills!
Good luck to you and your weight loss plan! Hope everything works out. I'd say yes.. give Fenphedra a try. But dont be discouraged the first day you take them.. maybe your body just needs to get used to it or something. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
