Thanks PHX Ronnie! Yes, I am sure I over did it on the nuts. I am starting all over today with the first menu that I lost 8 lbs. with. I will keep the nuts to a minimum!
ja lux, you have to remember that the recommended portion for nuts is a very few in the palm of your hand but not overflowing. Remember on the 11 day diet you are eating nuts at 3 meals a day and if you eat one serving of nuts (high in fat also) that amounts to about 600 calories per day without overdoing it. I think this can be likened to a taste of cheesecake. My exwife used to serve me a small slice of cheesecake and say you can have that little bit. Well yes and then she would leave the room and I would cut two or three large slices. What I have had to do with nuts is set a number I will restrict myself to eating. For me it was 5 nuts per meal. I have not allowed myself to keep the nut contaiiner on the desk where I work for obvious reasons but go serve myself 5 per meal. Now you will still cheat a little. But it wont be like leaving the cheesecake in front of you to be tempted. Goodluck
In October I was 140 pounds. It had been 7 months after I delivered my 2nd child and I was looking for a way to find myself back to my 105-110 pounds I weighed before I had children (over 4 years ago). I had never dieted in my entire life, but now I had to...I stumbled upon this diet. It was amazing. The first 11 days I was down 9 pounds. The 2nd round, I didn't lose but a pound. I took a week off, then started back. Lost another 9 pounds. I did this off and on, while continuing the maintenance diet. 3.5 months later, I was 112 pounds and I've maintained it. My last few pounds to my goal weight doesn't want to come off, but when you're so close to goal, it's really difficult.
So I guess what I'm saying is it works. I am never hungry, but I never gorge myself. I indulge myself to my Starbucks drinks occasionally and eat an occasional treat. Granted I run for 40 minutes 3 times a week, but that is the ONLY exercise I do. 2 children under the age of 4, I don't have time for anything else.
I personally don't think this unhealthy. You get to eat a wide variety of foods. Is it no carb - absolutely not, but it is lower carb. I love it. It was the best money I ever spent.
Worked like a charm for my husband and he didn't exercise at all! THREE of my work associates have purchased the program since they have seen my transformation.

Yeah. I lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks, I was worried. I wasn't eating because I was sick. After I felt better, I gained back 6 of the 20 I lost within 2 days. And I'm a veg*n.
The other week I lost 5 lbs in a day. I was going for a colonoscopy. I gained it back the next day.
I have never heard of this diet. And if people say it worked for them, then more power to them. I'm just of the mindset that my body will find its own weight in its own time. I just change my lifestyle and remain healthy. My body is pretty smart.
I think that everybody's body is different and nobody knows their own body better than themselves. This diet might not be for everyone. My neighbor did try it and couldn't follow it. It's strict, but you do not go hungry at all. That's what I liked about it. No set portions. You set when you are full. Like all diets, it's up to the user.
does anyone consider they could be losing water and muscle? if i lost 9lbs in 11 days i would kinda worried about it. guess thats just me.
I personally don't think I lost any water and muscle because I have maintained my weight. I ran, and still do, 3 times a week. Granted I was slowly increasing my speed from 12 minute miles down to 8 minute miles - the pace I was at when I was doing my mini triathlons.
I also see from your signature you buy into "the secret" as a tool for weightloss...so...yeah, whatever.
Dena, why all the hate? I have worked very, very, very hard to lose all my weight. I didn't just try dieting, I EXERCISE too - and trust me, with two little ones, it's hard to find the time, but I made the time. I've passed up bagels and cake and lunches out at work and still do because it's a lifestyle change for me. I work hard to maintain my weight loss, as I'm sure most of us on this board do.

Hey you can believe whatever gets your goat, no skin off my nose. But when it comes to dieting, ive seen a lot of very strange beliefs. I tried a lot of weird diets. and though the quick fast ones do work, you usually gain it back because it was water weight, or you lost muscle, or finally you binge because you deprived yourself so hard out.
My boyfriend and i started this diet together yesterday, He is also training me to run which has proven itself to be veeery difficult but im trying. I would love it if anyone has some stories to share about the diet. I have read all the others in this blog and i am excited. I'd be willing to share my diet plan for anyone who wants to start along with me. It would be nice to have a buddy to blog with about this event. I havent quite figured out this site but i started a new thread called Fat Loss for Idiots- 11 day diet. Come and join me! we can blog about it there. I'm on my fruit day and it sucks a little but the rest of the days look very managable.
Magic diet....well, magic is illusion. It's pretty simple to understand the results at short or long time.
The first enemy of the control weight is the impatience, and somehow...the person want to get "fit", like a "wink of an eye" or "snap of fingers". This not reasonable...but this is the way of the almost person begin.
there is no magic system
you have to cut down on the fat foods you eat, work out, and stay focused
that is basically it.
depending on how serious you are, the amount of time it takes to lose weight changes
if you are serious, and want to lsoe weight, search for the weight loss plan that suits you, and stick with it
good luck

My boyfriend and i both lost exactly 5.4lbs on our 1st cycle but im sure we overdid the nuts. Its funny because our menu' were the same but our work out routine is way different. His much more intense than mine. We are happy with our results and will change up the menu to hopefully get some decent results again. I love this diet i feel great on it. I wish i could get my parents into it.
