Size 0 Rapid Weight Loss Pills

Has anyone else tried these pills? I started them on June 3, and the first week, it was great. I lost 5 pounds, only to find them the following week. I am taking the pills faithfully, once in the morning and once at night (directions: 1-2 pills, 2-3 times a day; 30 minutes before meals). I am also trying to watch my calorie intake. I don't eat alot throughout the day. I normally only eat one meal a day, and snack on either popcorn or 100 calorie snacks. I am trying to drink more water also, sometimes with Crystal Light packets added. I walk 3 miles every morning, and do ab/aerobic exercises each night before bed.

Here I am 2 weeks into the "diet" and I still can't tell a difference in my weight. I weigh each morning, and nothing has changed, since I found the 5 pounds again. Any suggestions???

first week "on a diet" you're always going to lose weight - it wasn't the pills that did it -it's water weight that gets lost from eating a little healthier..

Betcha the isntructions say the pill works in conjunction with sensible diet and exercise.. guess what? sensible diet and exercise are all you need.

that's what I'm thinking too. I've heard that calorie shifting works, too, but I haven't tried that. I am wondering though, is it better to watch the calorie intake, fat intake, or carb intake?

water weight gain can be lost by drinking more water -and avoiding processed foods and sodium...

What contributes to weight loss is the almighty calorie -not so much where they are coming from.. Fat isn't evil.. Carbs aren't evil.. Calories aren't evil in moderation..

Spend some quality time with the stickied threads in the nutrition forum... there's a lot of good info there

I had tried pills about 15 years ago. I lost weight but had put it back on.
when i used to focus on calories, all I could think about was food.

so much for Size 0 pills...I went off of them on Friday. ever since I started taking them, I was getting little canker sores on my tongue that would stay a couple of days, then disappear. Since I quit taking the pills, no canker sores. I'm going to do this without the pills. diet and excerise!!!

You can't really ask that question.

Carbs and fats are macronutrients.

Calories are a unit of measurement.

It's sort of like asking what's a better fuel; a car, oil, or biodiesel?

In other words, it's everything rolled into one?

I think I'm doing pretty good so far, and that's an accomplishment in itself...still drinking water (YUK!) and watching the fat & calorie intake...I have lost 1/2 inch in a week, so something is going in my favor, for now anyway...

Calories are energy. Energy balance is what dictates weight gain, loss or maintenance. Our bodies are basically storage depots of energy... fat being the largest. If you eat more energy (calories) than you expend throughout the day, the excess will be stored. If you expend more energy than you eat during the day, the deficit must be made up and that comes from your storage (body tissue).

Macronutrients are things entirely different than calories.

They too are extremely important. Getting adequate amounts of the essentials such as protein and good fats is vital for success and health, for instance.

1 gram of protein has about 4 calories in it

1 gram of carb has about 4 calories in it

1 gram of fat has about 9 calories in it

So you can see the relationship. A balanced diet is a good diet IMO, in most instances. Fat and carbs are not evil.
