Hey guys. I need advice. I'm male, 16, ~172cm (68"), and weigh 85kg (187lbs). I need to loose weight, I'm bulky but at the moment overweight. It's the belly thats most annoying.
For the next 6 weeks (starting tomorrow) I am doing absolutly nothing, as it is now the Summer Break, and I want to do as much as I can to loose weight. The only equipment I have at my disposal are two 1.5kg dumbbells, and my bike. For the past week I have been testing out cycling in the morning at 6am, and I've done 3.63miles every morning and to be honest it was quite easy.
I am willing to get up at any time in the morning, go to bed at any time, and train all day if I have to. (I know, I wont) I presume I will need to limit my caloric intake, and do cardiovascluar exercise and some kind of weight training so I don't loose muscle mass?
I recently bought "90% Soya Protein Powder", and was wondering if it's worth taking, and if so, when? I have trouble getting high amounts of protein in my diet as I'm vegetarian, and there's a limit with beans and tofu. I've also been using FitDay for the past 3 days, and was wondering what are the best ratios of fat/protein/carbs that I should be consuming.
If you can help, please do ASAP, because I would like to start tomorrow so I get the full 6 weeks! I've posted on a few other forums in the past week, and had 0 replies, so this really is my last chance before I go out there and do whatever without knowing what I'm doing.
