Im desperate can someone help me

HI im 5'9 and weigh 309 pounds. Somehow I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks
I need help. I want to lose as much as i possible can
until i fit into a large sized shirt at least and even further

right now my diet is
Special K in the morning
and one meal in the evening
idk what to do please help me im desperate.

This is SO not healthy! That's starvation. You'll loose weight for about a week or so, then one of two things can happen: you'll either a. give in and binge because your starving and gain all the weigh back and then some or b. keep eating practically nothing and slow your metabolism down so much that even eating that small amount you wont lose anything.

The only way to lose weight and keep it off is with a healthy lifestyle - good diet and exercise. figure out what works for you is too complex for anyone to really help you in a forum. Talk with your doctor or find a nutritionist and maybe check out some weight loss books to point you in the right direction.

Start by reading the stickies on here. It will take a while to get through them, but there is really good information about nutrition and exercise and diets in general.

eat 6 meals a day high in protein and low in fat, not too many carbs that are white.. stick to complex carbs. whole wheats and multigrain.. and strength training..

you can do it!

Hey Kamakaze7,

I agree that eating less is not necessarily the answer. Can I ask you how old you are? Do you have any other health challenges ie diabetes etc? Feel free to private msg me if you don't want to publically post.

There is a way to regain your health...

You know, I did the same thing as you when I first started to diet. I think after a couple of weeks, I was too tired to do anything. Seriously. I was falling asleep everywhere. Anyway, I remember reading on one of the stickies in the forum, that you need fuel to help lose weight. I felt it sounded a bit stupid. But I reliazed tht because I was tired, I couldn't exercise. And because I couldn't exercise, I couldn't lose weight. I know it's hard to get your mind around. Especially if you have to eat 6 meals a day!

first off, what you are eating isn't good at all. Starving yourself will make your body store fat which is the last thing you want.
-always make sure you eat a healthy breakfast to get your metabalism started.
-make sure you have at least 3 balanced meals everyday
-get plenty of exercise (3 times a week) to help tone up
