Atkins, Fit for Life, Jenny Craig – there are almost as many weight loss programs as people who want to lose weight! Sharing our experiences here will help us all get a handle on the wealth of information — and misinformation — out there.

I had not seen a friend of mine for a two or three months. When we finally ran into each other while running errands, I noted that he had lost a lot of weight. Worried that he was ill, I invited him to lunch. He wasn't ill, he had just lost 50 pounds in about 8 weeks on a weight loss program. He told me the name of the program was Metabolic Balance and it was an all natural diet based on each individual's blood lab values. "It is a hormone balancing program not a diet." he told me.
I investigated the net and found out about the Metabolic Balance program and decided to sign up. I lost 30 lbs in 7 weeks. I felt so much better because my energy increased and my sleep improved. I wasn't taking any medications, but my friend no longer needs to take his blood pressure and cholesterol meds.
The best thing about the program is all the foods required are available at the local food store and nothing is processed. There is no sugar or white flour on the diet and this helps to balance the insulin hormone.
Another big part of the program is the way the coaches helped me to learn how to maintain the weight loss and "live" the program. No one wants to live on a diet forever, but when real foods are involved, it becomes easier to make good choices for life.
If you are interested in a healthy, all natural weight loss program that is also affordable, I recommend that you visit these websites to familiarize yourself with Metabolic Balance:
