Hi
I am not a great fan of diets. You are supposed to lose Lbs not £s, but most will cost you, and there is a very successful way of losing weight without starving yourself or giving up all your favourite foods. Whatever your weight, the body needs conditioning to accept changes in small but progressive doses. Think of how long it took to reach the weight you are! You are not going to get rid of it overnight. It is no use going headlong into a restrictive diet or an agressive exercise routine, however, you can start a steady and permanent loss procedure, using simple and painless actions. Start by drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning, and replace a couple of items in your meals with Non Calorie Foods. There is a free list of Non Calorie Foods HERE
Don't think about it, Just Do It, and let's start to get you trim.
Back soon.
when i lost weight what i did was think of something bigger than the enjoyment of food. i looked at food as nourishment and it was easier to look at food as a tool and not a pleasure because i got into fitness training my body.
I like this tyrann180! I think it's so important to fill yourself up before you eat- as in find inedible sources of pleasure to treat yourself with. Depending on what you enjoy it can range from exercise to downloading new music--I actually like to hop on youtube sometimes and watch videos to get new ideas on hair and makeup techniques - they are really good, helpful and fun! I find it's very helpful to add to your life instead of feeling like your taking away (once you have inedible treats in place, it's a lot easier to see food as fuel instead of your primary source of pleasure or comfort).
I also just commented on another post about emotional
eating, here's the link so I don't take up anymore forum real estate, hahaha.
It sucks when our family members are non-supportive, but it looks like you aren't lacking support here (and good for you for seeking it out and finding it!) :-) We're all here to cheer you on, carrry that energy with you throughout the day and know you are the single most important source of inspiration for you - all the good stuff you hear from us or anyone else is just a reflection of all the good stuff that's already inside of you.
Hi there applee. Correct me if I am wrong when you lack sleep the night before you tend to over eat right? If you do, then make sure you have a good night sleep the night before so that you will not compensate the lack of sleep through eating. I usually did this before.
One suggestion, no more eating beyond 6pm No more midnight snacks...
hi i have the same problem, im 13, 5'4" and i think im about 80 pounds overweight. i seriously need to lose weight and i see your plan is working fantastic. i want to know exactly how your plan is working like what changes do you make when youre eating? and what do you eat and what exercises you do and for how long. i pretty much want to know EVERYTHING. haha bc its working great for you, and it might help me too.
ive been watching was i eat for the past two weeks so now im not as hungry anymore. im thinking of eating 5 times a day, each time eating about 200-300 calories. so in the end ill have about 1500. and then ill speedwalk for an hour. does that sound good?
Stefano- That sounds good enough! Try to eat a bigger breakfast then a smaller dinner, Good luck
i'm2fat- I eat alot healthier, and try to restrict overeating. I do have the odd desert, but maybe once or twice a week instead of everyday. I drink alot of water, and walk alot.
& Thanks for the idea brian
I've lost 4 pounds this week because i've been dieting properly again, woo!
