I am not suggesting it for anyone, but I took it a few years back [when i was 14] and felt it did help me. I tried to find it the otherday and was told 'they dont sell it' at several stores. So what im wondering is if anyone knows where to get it, or if its now being sold under a different name or other reason, even if it just got discontinued. I tried google and all it gave me were 1000's of other options that looked like bull. If no one can help maybe someone out there knows what the main plant/herb/chemical/poison, in it was. I know there is no such thing as a miracle drug but it helped in the past [to an extent] and was hopeing to try it again

Yes it did help in the past due to weight loss products being forumlated with ephedrine. the old hydroxycut was a victim of the ephedrine ban a dozen years ago however. As such, all weight loss pills can be considered useless as the new generation of products use a ephedrine clone that doesn't work due to it stimulating the beta6-adrenoceptos instead of beta3-adrenoceptos. Works for trials in rats, does not work on humans.

Long story short, diet and exercise mate. Even with the old hydroxycut forumla, it was at best 25% increase in extra fat loss. The bulk of any weight loss comes from proper diet and exercise.

Aww well darn. Thanks for the technical info on it saved me from trying and having others fail. I know Hydroxycut didnt do a ton to help, but it did indeed help a little, oh well thats the past now, stupid ban.

Meh I am partial to taking this crap. It can be an aid to helping lose weight but if you are not lowering your calorie intake by what you are burning, you will never lose weight!

Instead I would take whey protein as a meal replacement here and there.
