Weight Loss Programs

Atkins, Fit for Life, Jenny Craig – there are almost as many weight loss programs as people who want to lose weight! Sharing our experiences here will help us all get a handle on the wealth of information — and misinformation — out there.

I have lost 85 pounds since January. Eating regular food, just smaller portions, and walking. I feel better and can walk farther. I have tried everything starvation, laxatives, binging and purging, all other fads, including the Phen/fen fad years back where I gained weight, and the extreme of weight loss surgery. Gained back the 75 pound I lost and 50 pounds more. Max WXL is the only thing that helped with the cravings, and I don't get dizzy or light headed. Anyone can lose weight with just cutting back on calories and exercising, but, with my experience, there comes a time when you just get tired of eating smaller meals and exercising, and being at a plateau and just say forget it, I have not felt this way since January. This is just my experience, it may or may not work for everyone. But for me, it has worked, and worked quite well. I am almost 40 and I seen weight come off slower as I age, I have not experienced that with this either. I just wanted to let you guys know that this is an option and it just might work for you. Good Luck! For every pound you lose, be proud, it is probably the hardest thing you will do!
