I dont see why you need a personal trainer. Thats not going to help you loose the weight. You need to start tracking what you eat and where and then find out where you can make the changes that you can live with.
Read some of the sticky threads. Regarding exercise, anything that gets your
heart rate up is good, try going tramping, canoeing, cycling, fast walking, anything thats actually fun rather than drudgery. You will meet other similar people which will motivate you into doing it more and its cheap/free.
Diet however is 90% of
weight loss, doing an hour a day exercise wont do diddly for you if you are still overeating.
