I'm sorry to be blunt, but that's a HORRIBLE diet. Starving yourself is the wrong way to diet - it's dangerous and when you can't do it any longer, you'll just gain all the weight back and then some.

You should be eating around 2000 calories a day of HEALTHY food. You need a balance of complex carbs (whole grains and oats), lean protein, and healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts and seeds) in order to be healthy.

Read the sticky posts in the various forums to get more information on healthy eating and nutrition.

No, not really. Read the stickies in the various forums - especially the ones about nutrition and diet.

It's hard to give more concrete advice without more information about you - what you currently weigh, what you do for exercise, etc.

i read the "The Easiest Nutrition Guidelines Ever" http://weight-loss.fitness.com/nutri...ines-ever.html.

Right now I am about 195, the fat I really need to lose is in my upper body.

Log your food in FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and read the nutrition section. Fitday will show how your nutrients break down and you will be able to compare that with the targets that you see in the nutrition section.

Taking your current weight as 195 and your goal weight as 175
Just as a basic start - you want
25g fibre minimum
protein to be between 100g and 175g depending on how much exercise you are doing
1000mg calcium minimum
some healthy fats
no more than 2400mg sodium
drink 98 ounces water every day

You will be able to see in fitday how near you are to hitting those targets.

When you hit those try to hone it towards what you learn in the nutrition section.

The physical exercise your are doing should work off the fat but by the looks of your diet you posted your nutrition is not in harmony with your physical exercise routine. Main ideas of a healthy diet would be generalized with the concept of eating fruits and vegetables but with your doing also weights + cardio your muscles and bones will need repair and protection. Which is protein, calcium, fiber and a range of vitamins minerals, and essential fats and water (should know already ). Pretty much you need a variety of nutrients in your food selections.

Don't starve yourself either that might be a problem in losing body fat too.

Do you encounter fatigue at all during your workouts?

That looks much better. I would still recommend that you sign up with one of the tracking sites like fitday.com or thedailyplate.com and use them to see what your calories and nutrients are. You'll be better able to adapt to variations in this plan if you understand why these are good choices and the others aren't.

Tamago will become famous soon enough
i think the newest one looks good except for the fat. maybe put half an avocado or something in one of your salads and the other half in another. if you're doing resistance training to preserve muscle while losing weight you may want more protein too..the recommended is usually .8-1g of protein per pound of weight..more if you want to gain muscle (which you can't really do on a diet so it doesn't matter here)
but anyways yeah don't fear good fat, more good fat will help you lose weight faster than almost cutting it out entirely would..your body would get pretty pissed at you for that.

Hi,
After having my first baby, i found that i put alot of wieght on very quick. And that being at home on maternity leave didn't really help, as all my baby did was sleep all day, and i was a couch potato.

I reached 15st 9, and at 5ft 1, i needed to do something about it. So i booked a weekend away with my partner for Feburary. My goal was to fit back into my post baby clothes.

so i bought a bottle of some pills, i took 3 pills a day until i finished the bottle. (breakfast, lunch and dinner) As well as the healthy eating and exercising every day.

Over the 14 days i was taking these pills, i lost 1st 6lbs. (3months ago)

I have now stopped taking these, but continue my healthy eating and exercise. and i have found that i am still losing, (few pounds a week) but i'm loving it.

Today i now weigh in at 13st 2. Total of 2st and 7lbs in just under 4 months. Just another 14lbs and i'll be back to what i weighed before.

I will not tell witch pills I had, but I recommend to [spam link removed] before using something, as i did. Maybe the link in my signature will help u.
